This is what the spokeswoman of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said about the elections in the USA.
Zakharova said that Russia is "not interested" in who will win the election, because in the United States "a bipartisan consensus has developed regarding the challenge" to Moscow.
"But it would be logical for the White House nominee, whoever he is, to focus on solving his country's problems and not seek adventure tens of thousands of miles off American shores," she said.
