Meta's daughter works for "KELONY", which collaborates with the Albanian government for risk management, while in Albania she has opened a real estate company with her brother. The sources of capital, still undeclared...
Bora Metaj, representative of a European agency that cooperates with the Albanian government, while her family accuses the state of being a "narco-regime"
On April 23, 2025, Monika Kryemadhi publicly stated that her children had returned from England and were working in Albania, opening a real estate management business. She described the reaction against them as "public persecution", referring to media accusations of money laundering.
But the truth is that the three children of Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi have their permanent residence in London. Each of them owns apartments in the British capital and are involved in businesses of the Fast-Food, Bar-Café and restaurant nature. Meanwhile, Bora Metaj, the eldest daughter, has built a more structured professional profile.
According to documents obtained by "Pamfleti", since September 2020, Bora Metaj has been employed by the European agency "KELONY", headquartered in Milan, a company specializing in the assessment and management of strategic and operational risks in critical sectors of the economy, industry and security.

In this structure, she works as a financial expert and risk analyst.
The "KELONY" agency also has direct contracts and collaborations with the Albanian government.
From sources within the Ministry of Finance, it is learned that Bora Metaj is part of the group that models and manages financing projects for natural, digital, environmental, economic and banking risks in Albania. Furthermore, this agency coordinates through it a former advisor to Ilir Meta on security issues, Ilir Kulla, who is part of the mediation with Albanian institutions.
This fact creates a stark contrast to the public rhetoric of her parents, who for years have portrayed Edi Rama's government as a "narco-dictatorship", gripped by crime and oligarchy. Meanwhile, their daughter collaborates in a structured manner with the same government, on strategic projects of national security and economy.
In Albania, Bora and her brother, Besari, founded the company “HAZAAR Sh.pk” on November 13, 2023, with the purpose of operating in the field of marketing and promotion of real estate, collaborating with architectural, legal, topographic and notary studios. Just a few months later, on January 7, 2025, they created another company called “HUNTZ Sh.pk”, in partnership with Erion Manen, a person used in April 2021 by Ilir Meta, then president, to make a sensational denunciation of the government.
Essentially, it is not legally prohibited for the children of a former president to engage in private enterprise. But it is necessary for them to declare the source of the initial capital, as they have gone from being students in England to business owners and representatives of international companies, without any documented previous work experience.
It is also hypocritical that Ilir Meta and Monika Kryemadhi, who daily accuse the government of crime and corruption, allow their daughter to represent an agency that cooperates closely with the same government, in one of the most sensitive areas of the state.
In this clash of interests, it remains to be seen whether SPAK will investigate the financial resources of the Meta-Kryemadhi couple's children and whether they will be forced to account for the companies and properties they own in Albania and abroad. Otherwise, the public will once again be faced with the picture of a family that preaches morality and anti-corruption in the morning, while at dinner it sits at the table with the same power it accuses./ Pamphlet
