Rama and Berisha, Siamese twins of a regime that has killed the future of
Berisha and Rama /

In Albania there is no opposition or government, there is only a two-headed regime. In the middle lies the vote of the Albanians, turned into an alibi to preserve power and wealth...

The last elections, held under a closed system, with lists dictated from above and with low goals of material survival, proved for the umpteenth time what has been sitting cross-legged in the public consciousness: Sali Berisha and Edi Rama are together.

For decades they have played the role of sworn enemies, while behind the scenes they share wealth, institutions and justice. Together they have survived every reform, every pressure from the US and every scandal that has shocked the world, but which has not shaken even the hairs of Albanian justice.

Because they have everything in their hands. Even the vote.

With the vote of Albanians, they have killed democracy and have established a hybrid regime in its place, where the voter is simply a technical card that signs for the lesser evil, which is in fact the same as the greater evil.

Sali Berisha may seem to no longer have immunity. But the staggering wealth of his children is a reflection of the wealth of the Rama clan. And the accusations made against him are more a political security scenario than justice. To keep the show alive and to maintain the frightening balance of the "rotational dictatorship".

Today, Albanian justice is a show run by only one man: Edi Rama. And if Berisha doesn't fall with a real sentence, Rama can't fall either. Because they are like two hands washing each other.

All international criticism of the capture of the state and justice are only protest notes for the public eye, but in essence, silent understandings that allow this shameful symbiosis between an installed autocrat and an aging autocrat.

In this country, elections are theater, justice is a script, and the state is a personal instrument of the interests of the Berisha-Rama duo.

They are divided on the facade, but they are one in essence. Even when they are criticized by the international community, even when they pretend not to talk to each other, they cannot exist without each other. As long as one is in politics, so is the other.

And as long as both are in the game, there will never be democracy in Albania./ Pamphlet
