Blocking the north of the country as a reprehensible act of Edi Rama
Axis Milot-Balldren /

The propaganda made by the government, and in particular Edi Rama, for an increase in investments in the north of the country, especially after the victory of the municipality of Shkodra, is a real fiasco...

The Thumane-Kashar segment, even though it may have released the 30-year Golgotha of the 'turtle walk' from Kamza to Milot, has created an even bigger funnel, especially in the area from Milot to Balldren. Where is the largest number of visitor movements coming from Kosovo, but also from Europe, through the crossing points with Montenegro.

The funnel from Miloti to Balldre is a terrible torture for families entering and exiting this road, which takes 70 minutes at best, two hours at worst.

All this is an indication of the terrible standards that the current government has used for the most vital part of the country, both in population and income, with the aim of not developing it at least on a wavelength with the southern part of the country. country. Where only for the segment from Vlora to Himarë, the citizens, in addition to having a fast highway almost 80% of the way, with the opening of the tunnel and roads up to Drimadhe Palace, have more than three alternatives that give freedom of movement. Add here the construction of the bypass of Vlora from Kanina, or the ring of the city that has been added to the Transbalkanika, together with Lungo Mare. Without forgetting the 80 million euro road of the Vlora River. An almost Swiss standard of southern infrastructure, which has only produced high prices, depression, not at all better services and no qualitative growth of tourism in that area. Apart from the colossal profit of client structures, nothing else...

This has happened since most of the structures are seasonal and connected to operators who do not know about tourism, because 9 months of the year they deal only with hashish cultivation.

However, this is another problem, because it is the job of the operators how they decide how to behave and serve tourists. The government should provide at least normal opportunities for the whole country. But the north, which has been discovered as an even more sought-after destination mainly by rich tourists such as German, French, or Nordic ones, today stresses everyone due to the lack of infrastructure.

A totally and clearly intentional approach by Edi Rama, who during all this time could have at least expanded the existing roads but did not. It seems that all this happened on purpose, to favor and divide the country, thus preventing a linear economic integration.

In addition to a cause that can be used by the country's opposition, this is also a file that should go for criminal verification.

Have there been proposals to develop the infrastructure in the north?

If there was, what was Rama's response?

If he obstructed or dragged him as he did for 12 years with the Arbri street, which has turned into a 'Rozafa', does it constitute a criminal offense? The debate must start now!/ Pamphlet
