One day maybe we too will become a diaspora. Don't worry "patriots", "they" are leaving too. The meadow is remaining dry, the remaining "sheep" are no longer doing "EU". They have brainwashed them. The grass is growing...
Don't even discuss it at all, the biggest patriots are the diaspora. Only they suffer the lack of homeland. As much as I could, the sacrifice ran out. Someone sold what they had, someone risked their life on the run, someone was being chased, someone... well everyone had a reason that was worth the risk and expense to escape from here.
This does not mean that they left, because they did not want the country. However, it produced political consequences. The country isn't going anywhere, only people can move...even sheep. And the old Slavic saying says, "to whom the sheep belong, the meadow also belongs to him".
This slogan was repeated by the Serbian Academy of Sciences, when they accused Kosovo politics of putting pressure on the Serbs to release Kosovo. The Serbs leave, Kosovo remains for the Albanians, they said. "Whose sheep belong to him also belongs to ... Kosovo" it was alluded to.
Whose is Kosovo, there is no doubt here. Now we have completed the last registration. We did not record the sheep, at least not specifically, but neither did the pastures. Simply, the main part of the homeland is no longer here. However, when counting the sheep, the meadow is still not questioned. One thing is certain, if everything is related to "sheep", then our homeland is diaspora.
At the end of the day, what do we do for the homeland, those of us who haven't left yet? We wake up early and go to work, where for eight hours we work on something, or we move around to earn the salary from the budget. Or we go to some poorly paid job, and challenge the private owner with various social theories. We complain! We cannot get out of our scheme, from small and big conflicts, from the web of emotions where love and hate co-exist sadly under the power of the idea that there is nowhere to go. Even when you have, you don't have to.
But there are also enthusiasts. Someone, even if you follow them, doesn't run away. There are plans. Let's bring Europe here, it has launched projects that break boundaries, and the planet is small for them. Unlike the formula of the last century "Think globally and act locally", these do the opposite: they think locally and act globally. Just tie the strings. One brother in Germany, one in Norway, one cousin in the US, one in Australia, one uncle in Afghanistan, one aunt in Colombia. Now where is the motherland? Where are the "sheep" or where is the "meadow"?
Ise Boletini was a visionary. When asked about Albania's borders, he answered beyond the geopolitics of the time. "Albania is called where bread is called bread and water is called water", answered Isa, and today we understand that with Albanian schools in the diaspora, across the continents, we are making Albania global. Albania is becoming, Isa!
Thus, we have become a medium, a vessel where ideologies, interests, substances and dilemmas of the time are mixed. But we are not so passive. Most of it is not idle. We take active rest. We live neither here nor there, that is, in social networks. Now, preferences are different, old people on Facebook and young people on "Dua"...
Of course we don't sleep there, we are active on social networks. Follow closely who is doing it with whom...namin. Who's talking to whom... takes out the laundry. Then, in the summer, we complain that the diaspora has come, blocked the roads and brought chaos. We were almost wasted, a whole people, then come those who love us, those who have missed us. God how can we afford this longing. Dua Lipa, Bebe Rexha come, bring global attention here for a little while, and leave.
It's not like it was any different in the past. True patriots have always lived abroad. All the famous revivalists had lived abroad, in Istanbul, Romania, Greece, had served in other countries. The people are not patriots, they are themselves. You don't fight for the land, you fight for yourself. One day maybe we too will become a diaspora. Don't worry "patriots", "they" are leaving too. The meadow is remaining dry, the remaining "sheep" are no longer making "BEee". They have brainwashed them. The grass is growing...
A Kosovar intellectual, journalist, once said: "Kosovo is being saved, but people still don't know." Once even journalists were considered intellectuals, now they have mostly become mercenaries.
And this boy was talking about the time of the NATO bombings on Serbia. The bombs fell mostly on Kosovo, as Serbia was still here. When he left Serbia, he took the cork with him. In vain, the "sheep" revise that old saying of theirs. Everything has become very complicated, beyond the capacity of Europeans to understand us. Meadow, sheep, rugs, borders. It has been a long time since this work of "saving" Kosovo happened, but the dilemma still remains: Have we saved?/ Pamphlet
