Since yesterday, envoys from Trump and Putin have arrived in Riyadh, under the leadership of Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, to prepare the so-called 'peace plan' on Ukraine.
Tomorrow morning, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio and the Kremlin's old master Sergey Lavrov will meet in a solemn manner. The first meeting after many years of clashing over peace in Ukraine. NATO and Europe have clearly been avoided.
As Vice President JD Vance said in Munich: There is now a new sheriff in town, and things are done his way. All global geopolitics has been shaken. Emanuel Macron has called European leaders to Paris to confront this political aggression of Trump that has eluded the EU. But on the other hand, Zelensky will also be in Riyadh tomorrow, and he has insisted on MBS being present on one of the sides of the meeting.
Yes, this belongs to what we call the world map of the division of the world, however, the situation is more serious. After all, the new Yalta, this more aggressive one, where Europe is excluded and everything is placed in Asia, will also speak for us.
It is no coincidence that a few minutes before leaving for Riyadh, Sergey Lavrov met with the new Foreign Minister of Serbia, Marko Djuric, who a few months ago was ambassador to the US.
This is a clear signal that in Riyadh, there will be a new Yalta, where not only us, but also others will be excluded, and the map will be prepared for the great summit by Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump.
But who will this new Yalta be?
Because at first he didn't even put the Albanians on the stamp. Stalin and Roosevelt left Yugoslavia 50/50 while leaving Albania to Tito's Yugoslavia. Then things went as they went. The provocations of August 1949 began, the succession of Enver with Tito, who was an ally of Churchill.
But today in Riyadh, how will Kosovo be decided, because it is no coincidence that Djuric visited Moscow, the first in many years since the Americans had banned Vučić. The big drama is the exclusion of Europe, which for us Albanians is quite problematic. The dilemma is whether Donald Trump has thought about peace between Kosovo and Serbia. But if we refer to the box he uses with Ukraine, it does not give much hope. However, it is worth waiting, but first of all, let's debate and discuss how we think about this peace with Belgrade or even the Balkan countries. After all, the new Yalta is said to also discuss Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina. The Balkan media, especially in Croatia and Serbia, is boiling. Only we talk about servility towards Donald, who in 2021 considered Kosovo a country in the Middle East. / Pamphlet
