This is how an Albanian politician in Kosovo once threatened the counter-revolution, the invisible enemy, which during the 80's everyone in the former Yugoslavia was fighting, but could not find. He made a "300 grossh mouse hole", a "business" offer to the counter-revolutionaries. Then the regime made him look for the mouse hole himself, since the counter-revolution could not be caught. The former Yugoslavia had already taken the plunge.
While Saliu threatens the "revolution", he threatens to burn the country, as he already burned it from inside the parliament. Ed threatens him, tells him to find the mouse hole to hide, without prejudging how much money all this will cost him. What can a reformist politician look like among Albanians, in the Balkans in general, if he does not have a conservative enemy? This eventually hits the reputation of the reformist.
The lack of an enemy is an unforgivable flaw in Albanian politics. This makes you invisible to the media, especially social media. Then, how would the socialist electorate understand its path if Saliu did not have as an alternative the ideas of Albanian feudalism of the 30s?
Will Edi fight for his political friend?
Or catch it from the other corner. How can you look good, cultured or visionary, even when you are egocentric, without any political morality?
Can you do without an aggressive, toxic enemy, tired of age and long power?
Can you do without someone, a specialist in creating crises, summoning the ghosts of the past and offering nothing but eternal revenge?
You can build the vision of a nation quite easily with such an enemy, especially a non-ethnic nation. The Government is more or less that simple. Eddie takes a ball and hangs a basket/basket on the wall, in the prime minister's office. We have already understood that in the Albanian political fairy tale, only Red Riding Hood is missing, innocent, it is good to ask with the naivety of a child: "Grandpa, grandfather, why do you have such big eyes? What about the mouth?"
Who would eat Little Red Riding Hood? Wolf or hunter? Eddie gets to be the hunter in this story, doesn't he?
There are no Red Riding Hoods in the Albanian political narrative. Wolf here and wolf here, on both sides of Albanian politics, English social networks become the tail of international hunters who pursue crime! Then, the internationals declare Saliu a non-woman and open an affair with the former FBI inspector, Ed. Friends cannot be separated!
