A lesson from the Greek media, albeit a liar

A lesson from the Greek media, albeit a liar

The media said that 'Albania has chosen the wrong opponent', implying that 'oh, what will Greece do to them, they will beat them with their palms!' Not just once, but a thousand times, the Greek media said that 'Himara belongs to Greece!' Now Germany has been asked why it is supporting Albania's membership in the EU...

What did the Greek media lie about, almost all of it, since the day when its own country entered into an alliance with Albania and Europe? He lied about everything to do with the dust up that his home state government raised.

The Greek media said that 'Albania is in our hands, we accept it or we don't accept it in Europe!' On the day that the Greek Prime Minister did not accept the Albanian Prime Minister at the Western Balkans Summit in Thessaloniki, many of the Greek media hinted that 'he did well, we are the European guardians of the Balkans'. Then he said that "Greece is right with Himara" and could buy the votes for a president who "was chosen by Greece". Then the media said that 'Albania has chosen the wrong opponent', implying that 'ah, what will Greece do to them, they will beat them with their palms!' Not just once, but a thousand times, the Greek media said that 'Himara belongs to Greece!' Now Germany has been asked why it is supporting Albania's membership in the EU...

All inspired by Greek nationalism and passion, all written 'with my head in a bag' without knowing the Albanian reality at all; almost all dishonest and untruthful...

And then, where is the "good lesson" that comes from the Greek media for us?

Under normal conditions, this panorama of the Greek media would be a disgrace that every journalist "as small as a grimace" should be kept away from being infected by this virus. The untruth, the lies, the nationalist attack woven in letters in the media, the nationalist puffing as if 'the neighbor is my servant'..., all these are a shame for the media. The first printed newspaper on this planet was born in Germany in 1605, with the aim that 'our village informs the neighboring village of what is really happening'.

Once again, why was this media that lies in Athens a "good lesson" for us?

The 'poison' that makes me say this depends on the evil that is in the core of some Albanian media and journalists. Even not only of the media, but also of the politicians..., just like in Greece, the evil of politics takes and gives with the lies of the media. The evil here that makes me praise another evil "across the border" is this:

The media in Albania waits for minutes and seconds to catch Albania in the "evil". Yes, he caught it, tore it to pieces. Even in the case of "Beler of Greece", some media and some journalists have attacked their homeland, cursed it, chopped it up, insulted it. "They killed us and cursed us..." the homeland. Even Albanian journalists joined the chorus of Greek journalists that 'Albania has chosen the wrong opponent...', that is, 'oh what will Greece do to them!' With an attack, our media rummage through the rumors of the world where "Albania is reviled", and bring it to the front. Politicians are the first to insult and insult the motherland, wherever they are. Two political parties, with two presidents of the republic at their head, recruited Beler into politics. Beleri had attacked the border of the homeland and participated in the killing of the soldiers who defended the homeland. Beleri was a member of the terrorist organizations MAVI and VorioEpir that seek the dismemberment of our lands... Beleri had sworn for the "Hellenization of Albania"

And then, what good do we wish the Greek media?

We want what we don't have. We want the Albanian media to take the side of their homeland. We want the media, not to be liars like the Greeks, but even on the nation's worst day, to take its side; if he is going to lie for the benefit of the country, let him do it. The media has the duty to trace the right and glory of the homeland and its nation, the right and glory "wherever it is and where it is not".

The Greek media has never let go of its nation, not even when it has been unjustly "hanged up" as a privileged nation. This is the good of the Greek media, 'even when it is wrong'.

We would not have wanted someone's evil, if we did not have the great evil around here, so many masquerading journalists and politicians who spit on the homeland and the nation.

The homeland is worshiped even when it is attacked, even when it is reviled. "For loving you and not being loved/, For crying when they laughed/, For wearing you when they undressed you, my Mother, you were martyred".

It is Noli's poem about the patriot and the homeland.
