Edi Rama's pact with Sali Berisha in Parliament to block a radical political reform for the 2025 elections is nothing more than the launch of an anti-SPAK political plan. A plan that aims to keep the old elite in the game, against a political will to bring about a complete reconfiguration in the next elections.
Edi Rama's irritation came after he learned that in Washington, SPAK prosecutors were informed that from across the ocean there is no barrier or ceiling on who can be affected by the investigations.
It was precisely this moment when Edi Rama decided to legalize Sali Berisha as the main subject of the opposition, legalizing an almost illegal structure, such as the Gjiknuri-Bylykbashi subcommittee in Parliament.
This subcommittee is nothing more than the maintenance of the current political status-quo, and its product will be seen and acted upon based on the steps Americans will take.
The expected steps from across the ocean are expected to be the prohibition of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta to compete for MP in 2025, as well as the publication of a media bomb by an important American media against Edi Rama.
An act that can automatically lead to completely different developments, can change the game from the beginning. It is precisely to stop this hurricane that it seems will start soon, the so-called Anti-SPAK Alliance was created, where apart from Rama-Berisha and Meta, there is also a group of oligarchs who are financing this campaign and the political reaction in the future.
There is a clear pact between the trio, to protect each one's interests, and the main one here is how Sali Berisha, like Ilir Meta, have agreed on Rama's fourth term.
If Rama falls, the fate of Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta ends worse, and even the hurricane may actually bring what they fear; the total seizure of the assets they have.
Even Berisha and Meta's selective war against Erion Veliaj and the ambassadors is nothing but a part of their pact with Edi Rama.
Whether Veliaj or any other high socialist official may have his own sins, but in the end, the problem is Edi Rama, his power that has turned into a gangrene.
In Erdoğan's model, Rama is ready to remove anyone who shadows him, just to ensure his power. Which he negotiates without any principle, with all other powerful people, whether these are post-fascists like Giorgia Meloni, Putinists like Viktor Orban, or even fossils of the old Albanian political system like Sali Berisha and Ilir Meta.
But as it is known, the US is expected to react soon on this issue, but the reaction will be neither verbal nor rhetorical. It is enough to remember what happened to Hashim Thaçi in 2020, where he was taken to prison, without being allowed to take his body clothes with him.
This is precisely where Edi Rama's confusion lies, if the Americans have already made a plan without him at the head of the government, and have even regulated the waters within the Socialist Party, which he remembers controlling.
But the odds are that things are not as they seem./ Pamphlet
