Hiding behind the windows of a car, after being on guard all day, they took the well and shot me in the back. Secretly! Unmanly! Shamelessly! Fixed unfaithful creatures, without homeland, without religion, without faith.
Do these infidels know that I have tried both the prison and the iron, when I have told the truths of this Albania. And I have not stopped for a single moment, for a single day.
I know my fight is hard. Perhaps the most difficult of all. Especially in a country like Albania where crime makes the law, dirty money weighs down the pockets of the poor, corruption makes the law difficult, where the strong rule and the weak are broken, where the youth runs away and only old people are left in the houses of the Albanians, where justice is busy a slave is giving his soul, where the sons of criminals kill and beat the day for the sun and the bullet jumps out of nowhere.
In countries like Albania, the truth is difficult. For many probably impossible.
But man lives, not breathes. Man lives because he has ideals and honor, he has a mission and purpose in life. He lives when he is ready to be tested by life and fight to the end for what he believes in.
That's why you can't stop me! Not today, not ever, not as long as I breathe.
I will tell you the truths of this country every day. I will fight corruption with the only weapon I possess: the word and the truth. I will fight for justice; for that poor person who has neither the right to speak nor the opportunity to live: for that old man who wakes up and stares at the door and the penny earned with the sweat of his sons; I will fight for those young men and women who have fled, but left their eyes and heart here; I will fight for my children so that they can build their lives here. I will fight until my last breath so that my daughter, still a child, will be proud of me!
I believe in my fight!
