Vučić falls like a pear

It has been clear for years that Aleksandar Vučić's regime in Serbia would not have survived a single day if there had been a minimum of democracy, rule of law, or free media independent of government influence. If these conditions had been met, Serbia would not have experienced the successive tragedies of loss of life, deep poverty, and regional and international isolation.

Today, Serbia is practically in silent conflict with almost every neighboring country, spreading hatred and constant tension towards the peoples of the former Yugoslavia. The Vučić regime openly supports the criminal regime of Vladimir Putin and encourages the violation of basic human rights at alarming levels.

This situation is not accidental, but a direct consequence of the brutal, corrupt, and aggressive policies that Vučić has imposed to maintain his personal power.

However, as the popular saying goes: "What you sow, you reap!" The reaction to this regime has taken the form of a massive student revolt, which is now being followed with interest and admiration from around the world.

The student revolt in Serbia has become a global symbol, with public figures and world personalities openly expressing their support and admiration for this movement for democracy and justice. Vučić, meanwhile, continues to live a luxurious and privileged life, completely disconnected from the reality of the citizens he has governed for 12 years.

A tragic symbol of this policy is the fatal incident at the Novi Sad Railway Station, where 16 people lost their lives due to state negligence and corruption. Of course, the victims did not belong to the wealthy elite who do not use public transport.

Meanwhile, recent polls show a dramatic shift in public perception of the Vučić regime. If elections were held in Serbia today, a student list made up of professors, workers, farmers, and experts backed by students would secure 54.8% of the vote, while Vučić, along with the SNS and SPS, would fall to 42.1%.

In another scenario, where the opposition unites completely, the students again win the majority (45.9%), the opposition gets 10.2%, while Vučić and his associates drop even further to just 41.4%.

As is clear, the Vučić regime is already on its knees, and the student protest is clearly signaling an imminent and inevitable end. If arrogance and deceit are its main strength, the natural response is the increasingly powerful reaction of citizens demanding real change.

It seems that Vučić's political end is now only a matter of time./In Albanian: Pamphlet
