Through a decision of April 17, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana declared incompetence and asked the Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK, to carry out further investigations against the governor of the Bank of Albania...
The Governor of the Bank of Albania has been called to give clarifications to the Assembly regarding the microcredit scandal. The Bank of Albania has favored "Micro Credit Albania", not revoking its license in two cases, and the opposition finally remembered to request a hearing with Gent Sejko.
According to sources, he will appear at the Economy Committee on Tuesday at 11.00. Despite the fact that the shopkeeper Eduart Shalsi avoided a senace all these days, today he accepted.
This move comes at a time when investigations have also been launched by the prosecution. Through a decision of April 17, the Prosecutor's Office of Tirana declared incompetence and asked the Special Prosecutor's Office, SPAK, to carry out further investigations against the governor of the Bank of Albania for the offense of "abuse of duty" and the MCA company for fraud, concealment of proceeds and cleaning the proceeds of crime.
" The activity of MCA shpk results in the fact that it has continuously penalized the legitimate interests of individual borrowers, which has been in cooperation with the bailiffs, and doubts arise that there may have been cooperation with employees of the Bank of Albania ", it is stated in decision declaring incompetence.
Micro Credit Albania (MCA) is one of many companies that are extorting Albanians every day and the state authorities are powerless. This pyramid company buys bad loans from other non-banking institutions and then initiates blackmail and enforcement procedures against citizens. Through threats, pressure and blackmail, millions of ALL are taken from the citizens, although they may have received minimal loans.
Complaints against this company have been endless and the Bank of Albania a few months ago decided to suspend its license for the second time, without taking a measure to revoke it completely. A few days ago Gent Sejko tried to justify himself that his "hands were tied" and he could not take any measures.
Why has the license not been revoked? The license has not been revoked because revoking the license would take the portfolio of these clients out of the credit register administered by the Central Bank. Therefore, the removal from the credit register of customers who are not all non-performing - some pay, some have payment difficulties - would lead to the perception that the loans are forgiven and they would not pay in the first place, so this would to create a precedent in the banking system itself, and a risk to increase the problem loan which I mentioned that we reduced from 25 percent to 4.7 percent", he justified himself.
Likewise, the Bank of Albania in a reaction bills the responsibility to the Ministry of Justice, the Chamber of Enforcement and other judicial institutions.
But in the meantime we have two problems. First, Gent Sejko seems to be building an alibi, since SPAK has opened an investigation. The governor is closely related to the financial pyramids. In addition to Micro Credit Albania, there are also a number of other companies that provide loans with super high interest rates. Why doesn't Sejko take any measures for IuteCredit, Besa Fund, Kredo.al, etc.? Even these companies are ripping off Albanians. Sejko only gives them licenses and does not interfere.
Secondly, from the reactions of the last few days, it is clear that these companies have captured the state. The Ministry of Justice launched an urgent letter to several state institutions, including the Bank of Albania and the State Cadastre Agency.
According to the documents signed by Deputy Minister Klajd Karameta, the Bank of Albania was required to take urgent measures to block the activity of Final and Micro Credit Albania, while the State Cadastre Agency was required to provide information on the number of properties that these two companies have alienated from Albanian citizens.
BSH justified that it could not intervene. While Dallandyshe Bici has completely ignored the request of the Ministry of Justice to send information regarding the number of properties that Micro Credit Albania has alienated so far. On the other hand, the House of Executors has not reacted, causing this story to pass in silence. / Pamphlet
