The prices of dairy products in Albania, twice higher than in Kosovo and much higher than the prices of these products in all the countries of the Balkan region and in the EU countries, can be explained by the very serious situation that is the livestock sector in Albania has been going through in recent years when the number of cows and cattle has fallen catastrophically, reducing the amount of milk produced.
