Albania has an ideal case for Revival if the operation to clean it will continue with intensity, courage and moral and political support.
The moment to clean has come as a gift from the sky (SKY). The dismantling two years ago of the communication network SKY Ecc that claimed to be unbreakable has revealed shocking data for Albania.
Out of 62 thousand Sky ECC users worldwide, 18 thousand are Albanians. 8 thousand only in Albania. The second most used language in this network, after English comes the Albanian language!
The breakdown of the communication network used by drug traffickers points to the "state within the state".
Drug trafficking, money laundering, murders, appointments, dismissals, decisions, licenses, strategic investor status, construction permits, tenders, influence on investigations, influence on court decisions at all levels... Prosecutors, judges, officers are involved in this scum. police, MPs, official politicians...
They thought they were safe because SKY Ecc users used a special phone with a price of 2000 euros and paid a fee of 1200 euros per year. They felt safe because the messages were automatically deleted and created the impression that no sleep was left. But the Belgian authorities managed to get into the company's servers and today they have the entire communication archive.
Seeing the intensity of use, Europol has set up a special unit for Albania.

So far, the following have been arrested by SKY Ecc in Montenegro:
former president of the Supreme Court
former special prosecutor of the state
former general director of the police
former deputy general director of the police
former mayor of Budva

Dhe lëmshi nisi të shtjellohet më 9 mars të 2021. Rreth orës katër pasdite, policia belge kreu 200 bastisje, arrestoi 48 persona, sekuestroi 1.2 milionë euro kesh dhe 17 ton kokainë. Mes të arrestuarve pati avokatë, oficerë policie, të punësuar në prokurori, zyrtarë publik, zyrtarë taksash, administratorë spitali.
Three days later, the US Department of Justice issued an arrest warrant for the executive director of SKY Ecc. On March 19, SKY Ecc's website was shut down and seized by the FBI.
There are 1 billion messages in Sky ECC and the lion's share in use is in Albania. There is still work to do in "whitewashing", but the structure of the criminal groups, the way they operate, the bank accounts and the corrupt contacts are in the hands of the authorities.
Will the "gift from heaven" be the chance for revival?
This is not only the test for the new justice, but also the challenge for the whole society.
It is the moment when an answer to the question is sought: when will the "state within the state" face justice?
