The only anniversaries that Sali Berisha celebrates from 2021 are the anniversaries of his international punishments. Every May 21 commemorates the punishment by the USA as a person who has undermined democracy in Albania, as a family involved in major corruption and as a blackmailer of justice.
Now every July 19 has been added the commemoration of being declared non grata by Great Britain, as a politician with criminal ties, as a prime minister who has enabled his daughter to be a power broker and as a user of criminals for political purposes.
Today was one of these anniversaries and it wouldn't even be worth making news if you didn't look at his painstaking effort to explain the mountain of accusations from the British government after a year.
The only good thing he did is that he read all the charges even though he tried to read some of them partially.
Every accusation made by the British government is not only true, but it is a ready criminal file for the Albanian justice that does not act against him.
The financial transactions between Damir Fazlic and his daughter, where only one is 1.7 million euros, the omnipotent power of attorney of Damir Fazlic for his daughter's studio in the management, sale and transfer of the capital of the company registered in Cyprus; the story of his daughter with the Pakistani businessman, who through e-mails asks for 3 percent of the 100 million euro project for the construction of a thermal power plant in Porto Romano, for which her father, the prime minister, has to sign and other stories of her famous law firm, are a minefield for him and his family, as if justice here acted the same for all politicians.
It would be enough to take his statements about Damir Fazliç in time, when he said in the Parliament that he is my housemate and he used to have dinner at his house. When he brought us into the meetings of the National Security Council even though he was a Bosnian Serb arms dealer in the region. And today's statement that says he was a friend of Lulzim Basha, would be enough to understand the relationship that Sali Berisha has with the facts and the truth.
It would be enough to watch the video of a person wanted in Great Britain, Fation Dauti, where, in the presence of Flamur Noka, he kicks the door of the PD chairman Luzlim Basha, tearing it open, to serve Sali Berisha. And Berisha's statement that he does not know him, to understand what respect this man has for the facts.
By trying to refute those facts, Berisha has done a favor to public opinion and justice by reminding them what he did. And as if to close his stupidity to the end, even though he had warned that he would bring out facts about the corruption of the two British ambassadors in Albania who drafted the file, he not only could not prove any fact, but considered them corrupt only because they listed him with all his crimes in a file.
Berisha po ashtu u përpoq të mbrohej nga “non grata” e SHBA duke përsëritur një gënjeshtër që tani është sqaruar dhjetëra herë, që SHBA nuk komunikon dhe nuk u jep llogari personave të sanksionuar prej saj. SHBA ka dosjet e saj dhe informacionet e saj nuk i bën publike. Nuk i ka bërë publike për askënd jo vetëm për Berishën. Ndryshimi i vetëm është se për Berishën ka përshkruar më shumë se për këdo tjetër arsyet për të cilat është ndëshkuar dhe ato janë si minues i demokracisë për 30 vjet, si familje hajdutësh dhe si shantazhues i drejtësisë. Ky bilanc tragjik është i verifikueshëm nga çdo qytetar i Shqipërisë. Ai është njeriu që ka shkatërruar i pari proceset zgjedhore në Shqipëri dhe institucionet e shtetit shqiptar. Është i njohur si një familje e korruptuar me grua hajdute, vajzë hajdute e djalë hajdut dhe është ende dhe sot shantazhues i sistemit të drejtësisë.
Atëherë pyetja legjitime është: përse Berisha ishte kaq i vendosur të dilte në mes të vapës de të na kujtonte të gjithëve gjithë krimet e tij 30 vjeçare?
Arsyeja duket se është diku tjetër. Atë e ka kapur makthi se SPAK po lëviz në adresë të një prej familjarëve të tij, për një aferë që tani është publike dhe dyshon se mund ta arrestojnë.
Për këtë arsye doli për të sulmuar ashpër SHBA dhe Britaninë e Madhe me qëllim që nëse djali, dhëndëri apo vajza e tij përfundojnë në burg në këtë vapë gushti, të thotë se është hakmarrje e SHBA dhe Britanisë së Madhe ndaj akuzave që ai ka bërë sot. Thjesht, është duke përgatitur alibinë për tu mbrojtur si hajdut që mund të ndëshkohet.
Nuk shpresoj shume tek drejtësia, por më vjen mirë që Berisha edhe pse i ka masakaruar me presione, ua ka sërish frikën.
It is not a little that this man starts to get scared. What he did today is a good sign. He knows what he has done to him and is trying to get out of harm's way.
