In Albania, Sali Berisha has dragged the entire Albanian opposition not to win, but only because he knows he is a loser and he needs it as a political shield.
President Biden has divided public opinion in the US and the Democrats themselves, putting them in dilemmas as to whether they can continue the race with him as candidate or change him.
The reason is the last debate with former President Trump, for which all parties agree that President Biden lost.
So the essence of the debate is whether or not we win with Biden.
And this is the meaning of a political debate in a party. The chairman needs to be a winner.
Although President Biden is a successful president and has an exemplary political career, one of the most coveted, he is being questioned just because he seems not to be a winner.
In Albania, Sali Berisha has dragged the entire Albanian opposition not to win, but only because he knows he is a loser and he needs it as a political shield.
And unfortunately, there is no rational debate within the opposition that says "We don't win with this".
The only one who articulated this is Rudina Hajdari, and she was lynched just because she said that we should choose a candidate for prime minister in order to win, but we should exclude Sali Berisha from this race.
Just before her, Gazmend Bardhi said that we should find a candidate for prime minister, but he did not clearly say that Berisha should be excluded, and yet Argita answered him, calling it a dangerous idea.
I mean the debate in the Democratic Party in the USA is that despite the fact that President Biden is a successful president and has a fantastic political history, perhaps he should withdraw from the race because he does not win.
Whereas in the Democratic Party of Albania, the debate is not whether we will win or not with Berisha, but whether Berisha will win by silencing every voice in the DP. Everyone is sure that with him they are losers, everyone is sure that with him they will not come to power, and the only debate is that there should be no debate that he will be their candidate, since he should be the president opposition to feel politically protected.
This is enough to understand whether we have an opposition united around Berisha, or subdued by Berisha.
