In the 30-year-old political narrative of the so-called Albanian right, there is talk of Sali Berisha's personal role in strengthening his power, up to the current concreting, which has turned into a political bunker.
There are many arguments for this, and in all these years there has been a lot of talk about the role of the doctor to "cleanse" the territory, cutting off any possibility of succession from the very beginning.
This phenomenon has been discussed in great detail, not only by journalists or diplomats, but also by well-known former leaders of the Democratic Party over the years.
And for this whole thesis, there is nothing more to say, since it has been talked about causes, consequences and events. But beyond the finding, the biggest problem is that this whole society of almost half of the Albanian electorate has not found the opportunity, the idea, the fantasy, but also the courage to defeat Sali Berisha with a vote. Or at least simply compete or challenge it.
Which would definitely give birth to a political process, which would actually generate a democracy, however fragile, to move the waters of a political swamp that is stinking up the world.
Especially those who live in that environment, where it seems from the long stay they don't notice it. Even the former opponents of Sali Berisha are getting used to this contaminated environment, who for completely pragmatic reasons have turned like prodigal sons and have started idolizing the doctor.
The views of Professor Neritan Ceka, who was among the first rivals of Berisha, alongside the doctor in the days of the most important political and international isolation, are a symptom of this problematic situation.
But of course this panorama is not the only one, or Professor Ceka the only protagonist of this political impasse within the opposition.
The biggest problem is that in all these years the Albanian right is not producing any political figure powerful enough to impose a new, fresh, powerful leadership, imposing not only on the opposition society, but also on the non-aligned one. or of the left, achieving political victory.
Look at the Socialist Party. Only high-level political leaders have produced four (Edi Rama, Fatos Nano, Ilir Meta, Pandeli Majko), meanwhile, there have been endless "senators", who, among others, are real interest groups. The images of the party of the SP on June 12, when the "parade" of early professors and leaders was seen, are enough to understand a dialectic that seems to be a real ferment of the political power of the Albanian socialists.
Ndërkaq, sot ka edhe zëra të shoqërisë që janë kritikë me qeverinë, e madje të fortë që vijnë nga një përvojë politike në PS. Juristi Ylli Manjani, që sot është një nga kritikët më të fortë të qeverisë e ka nisur karrierën politike në PS-në e Fatos Nanos e më pas në atë të Edi Ramës. Gazetari që drejton një emision të rëndësishëm në prime time, Luan Rama, ka qenë udhëheqës socialist e ministër i rëndësishëm i qeverive të majta. Ben Blushi, po ashtu, sociologu Gëzim Tushe, i cili është thuajse çdo ditë nëpër ekrane për të folur për fenomenet shoqërore, ka qenë një nga udhëheqësit e parë të socialistëve të Vlorës, etj etj.
Ky komunitet socialistësh që ndodhet në shoqëri, ka qenë ndër vite, e ndoshta edhe sot, pjesë të proceseve kritike por edhe transformuese në të majtën shqiptare. Para ardhjes së Edi Ramës, procesi i debatit të ndezur ishte prezent edhe gjatë kohës kur PS ishte në qeveri, ndërkaq, kur të kalojë në opozitë, procesi do të ndizet, gjasat janë që edhe më fort sesa në kohën e KPD-së së famshme të vitit 2002. Megjithatë, edhe në qeverisje, socialistët kanë bërë qarkullime të shpeshta elitash qeverisjesh e siç tha Rama, në zgjedhjet e ardhshme do të ketë edhe një zëvendësim gjenerate të skuadrës politike për 2025-n.
Proceset në të majtë, nuk kanë ndodhur vetëm me vullnetin e liderëve, që përgjithësisht lëvizjet i bëjnë të komanduara, të llogaritura për të ruajtur pushtetin e tyre. Por janë nxitur nga shkundjet që janë dhënë nga personazhet e tjera, të cilët me mjetet që kanë pasur në dispozicion, kanë dhënë impulse e tyre.
Krejt ndryshe ka qenë procesi djathtas. Proceset kanë mbetur në vend, e personazhe nga më të rëndësishmit në logjikën historike dhe intelektuale janë squllur, apo konformuar për interesa më të vogla e pragmatiste.
Që nga kundërshtarët e parë të Berishës që krijuan një proces fantastik dialektike politike, si Ceka, Imami, Zogaj, Pashko, e deri tek Leka Zogu apo Abaz Ermenji, askush nuk arriti të nxisë një proces politik për të prodhuar anti-Berishën në të djathtën shqiptare. Ndërsa një pjesë iku nga kjo botë nga ana biologjike, të tjerët, në mungesë të arritjes së objektivit, shkuan e u ulën në prehrin e doktorit për të marrë ndonjë indulgjencë të vockël për vete apo edhe për familjarët e tyre.
Kjo “lodhje” e “mërzitje” në dështimin politik, ka dëmtuar fort procesin politik të rrotacionit brenda komunitetit politik të opozitës shqiptare. E ky ngërç është shkaku real i mbetjes në këtë situatë, kur nuk duket aq i vërtetë kërkesa e tyre për rotacion të Edi Ramës nga pushteti.
Edi Rama është politikisht anti-Berisha më i madh dhe më konseguenti në politikën shqiptare. Rama e ka refuzuar pushtetin e Berishës që në vitin 1991, kur ishte pjesë e opozitës së parë antikomuniste, e këtë konseguencë e ka vijuar edhe kur doktori u bë thuajse mbret në vitin 1992.

Then Rama starts the strong opposition to Sali Berisha, who, as he has stated several times, had prepared the cartoon to execute him with firearms. Among other things, Rama is in power also thanks to his battle with the concrete doctor. Which he has defeated in the first elections when he became the head of the SP until today.
But while Nano, Rama, or the leftists, have their battles, the political dialectic requires someone to fight the real battle within the right.
Of course, it is not a battle for "death", but a normal political contest, where at the end there is a vote. And everything starts with a challenge first. Lulzim Basha may have all the political defects in the world, but he is the first who has more seriously challenged Sali Berisha when he expelled him. No matter how behind-the-scenes or conspiracy theories that movement has, that decision of Lul Basha, logically, should have been the beginning of a process that would ignite the opposition scene. Which since 2021 has had all the media spotlights, but which has not turned on and has not turned on. In addition to producing false scenes alla reality show, which in the end are not even worth the prime time reflectors. That's why we are here.
No matter how Berisha's entourage fills the opinion to justify his failure. In fact, Berisha has eaten failure and success together with his political and financial meadow. The real failure is of this entire society within the opposition, which for these 33 years, has only made mortar endlessly to concrete the doctor in the bunker, which in reality today is located in a symbolic building of the People's Army of Enver Hoxha.
