The removal of Berisha's non-woman, the opposition's political offer

However, like the war against Soros, like the war against SPAK, or now the removal of Berishë's non-women, these are not issues that concern Albanian citizens. And precisely for this reason, every time they call for civil disobedience, it fails.

Since the election of Donald Trump as President of the United States of America, the supporters and sympathizers of Sali Berisha are very enthusiastic and consider this victory as the triumph of democracy, freedom and the fight against the Soros mafia system. Are you saying that Donald Trump was elected president of Albania and not in America?

They have been creating the idea for several days that the troubles of the DP and the opposition, and even Albania, are over. All this enthusiasm is as absurd as it is desperate. It shows the deep despair in which this party has fallen, that they consider the election of a person in charge of the White House as hope for their militants.

In fact, most people who have analyzed Trump's victory have done so as Americans and not as Albanians. They have talked about how good America will be with President Trump, and how he can solve its many problems from the economy, inflation or immigration. Donald Trump can even solve these problems and can be a very good president for Americans. The point is that we should think like Albanians and like Europeans, and not like Americans. No one has analyzed how his presidency will affect Europe, NATO or the Kosovo issue, issues which are essential for our destiny. However, the enthusiasm for Trump and the issues he will solve in America is apparently greater than our problems and those of the continent where we live.

Berisha's supporters understand why they are enthusiastic. They are telling the Albanians that the non-woman status for their leader will be removed, and they are even convinced of this. Beyond whether or not this can happen, the removal of Berisë's non-gratia seems like the only political offer the Democratic Party has for Albanians, judging by their public rhetoric. When Berisha was declared non-grata, his political offering was the fight against the Sorro mafia and his lobbying to declare him undesirable. When the trial against him in SPAK began, the political offer, which continues today, was the fight against SPAK and justice. They have clearly expressed this publicly, that when they come to power they will undo the Reform in Justice. Now with the victory of Trump, the political offer, i.e. the alternative of the opposition for the Albanians, is the removal of Berisha's non-woman.

However, like the war against Soros, like the war against SPAK, or now the removal of Berishë's non-women, these are not issues that concern Albanian citizens. And precisely for this reason, every time they call for civil disobedience, it fails. It is normal, since the people cannot follow behind for the leader's troubles, but for his own troubles. Those who have already followed behind and have believed the illusions that are given to them as food, such as the last one about the abolition of non-grata, are only the militants of the Democratic Party and the most ardent followers of Mr. Berisha.

Until now, no one knows what the Albania of the Democratic Party can be like. They don't know because PD does not show any vision for health, education, employment, agriculture or tourism. No one can imagine DP's Albania, since it has not conveyed it to its citizens. The only thing it has done so far is to pass on the problems of its leader as if they were the problems of the people.

As they are very excited about Trump's victory, they should also understand that he won because he had a clear vision for America, and Americans knew it. Likewise, his opponent had a clear vision for America, and Americans voted for what was best for their lives and the lives of their families.

This is precisely what the Democratic Party cannot do. To offer the Albanians an Albania according to its vision and for the Albanians to be clear about it. And to imagine that only 6 months before the elections, the Democratic Party still does not have a candidate for prime minister. Maybe because they are waiting for Trump to remove Berisha's non-grata, as the only option they have at the moment. But, in all likelihood, they should wait after the end of the parliamentary elections in Albania.
