When the forest burns, the spirit of nature cries...

There is no more silent cry than that of a burning forest. It does not scream, it does not cry, it does not protest. It simply burns alive, standing, like a martyr who asked for nothing but the right to live in peace with the sun, with the rain, with the streams and rivers, with the birds and the chirps on the branches….

When man forgot that he was part of nature, he began to destroy it with the hands that once planted those trees.

Where once leaves rustled in the wind, today yellow flames rise, like rabid snakes devouring everything: trunks, roots, birds, foxes' dens, beehives, game trails...

In the air, there is no longer the scent of oak and pine, but heavy smoke that carries an invisible pain; the pain of a life that ends silently.

It all starts with a hand that doesn't resemble a human, but rather its dark shadow. A hand holding a can of oil, a cigarette butt, a bottle thrown in the grass.

A hand that does not tremble with fear, because it has neither mercy, nor conscience, nor soul.

Fire is the language with which this criminal of nature writes the collective punishment of life.

In this punishment, not only is the forest killed, but also the bird that could not fly, the turtle that could not escape, the grandfather who was left homeless, the future that will no longer flourish is killed.

Is there a greater crime than burning your breath...!?

To wipe out an ecosystem, to destroy a living universe just for a moment of venting, anger, revenge, even worse: with pure evil intent...!?

These are not just fires. They are pure acts of ecological terror, leaving behind ash, poverty, and oblivion.

The forest is more than trees.

It is our second home, our lungs, the watershed, the source of peace, the dwelling place of the natural spirit of our land.

When a forest burns, a page of history burns, a song that will no longer be sung burns, and with it, a part of the person who has forgotten where he comes from also burns.

We must put the right names on the wounds that are being inflicted: Arson is terrorism against life. It is sabotage of nature, it is murder without weapons, but with eternal consequences.

The law must speak. Justice must act. Society must wake up. Schools must educate, citizens must denounce, governments must react. Because forests have no voice, but we do. And we must speak on their behalf. Today! Not tomorrow…..

Ultimately, when we see a tree burning, let's not forget that it's not just wood. It's a breath that can't be repeated, a life that will never come back.

If we don't protect the forest, there will be no one to protect us.
