In its beginnings, after the declaration of "non-women" by DASH, it seemed as if Berisha had a battle with Lulzim and Rama, or their "lobbyists". But very soon, the dilemma was resolved, and the "objective" was clarified. The battle was with the USA, and it started from its ambassadors and former ambassadors in Tirana. It started with proper names, where the emphasis was on Blinken, and "his connection with Edi Rama, MC Gonigal"..etc..etc..
A large list of imaginary scenarios was drawn up, as if the "thing" had been done in Tirana and forwarded to Washington. Come on, believe me, where does the former leader's fantasy go? But the days, weeks and months flew by, and the main objective of the battle "for the inalienable right of the former leader" was becoming clear. He had and continues to have the battle with the USA, DASH, Blinken, and its Embassy in Tirana. For the former leader (who should have held completely opposite positions if he was pro-Western), SPAK is also directed by the USA, the latter "spoiled" by Rama, etc..etc.
So, we are dealing with a political knee-jerk reaction, which exists only in Berisha's mind. In order for the Americans to deal with such "tricks", we must believe the other fact that, "the USA is a small country", and not an economic and military superpower. And for them to deal for so long with a former leader and former prime minister of a country like Albania, I believe it is not worth it. They declared her "non-women", and left it at that. Other obligations are performed by the new justice, in case there are facts and legal grounds to investigate it.
Going to the top of the balcony, and gathering dozens of supporters under it every afternoon, daily speeches not hesitating to attack any political opponent, do not actually hide the main target of the battle, as it seems to the square that the USA is. Enver Hoxha used to publish his books against "American imperialism", and maybe even today after 37 years he would envy the former democratic leader for the frenzy of anti-American attacks. In Western European countries, every former leader after a long experience will had retired in time from political life, to keep his public career intact.
