Why do those who sold the south to Greece oppose Sazan being given to America?
For three days, Albanian media and journalists have undertaken a strong anti-American campaign.
Surprisingly, in the name of sovereignty and at the head of this anti-American campaign are those who:
- the silence when Berisha gave Greece 6 miles of maritime space in the Ionian Sea;
- the silence when Berisha donated to Greece 4 cemeteries for Greek soldiers in Këlcyre, Korçë, Gjirokastër, Dropull;
- they were silent when Berisha gave Himara to Greece politically by running Fredi Beleri in alliance with the Greek party.
All those who have advocated the Greek claims for Vorio-Epirin, today act as prosecutors against the USA, under the pretense of "sovereignty".
The "Affinity Partners" firm of Jared Kushner, son-in-law of the former US President and the current Republican candidate, Donald Trump, is planning three investments in the development of properties in the Balkans that could exceed 1 billion dollars. Among these projects, Albania also takes part. The Miami-based firm plans to transform Sazan Island, a former military base, into an Aman-branded luxury community.
Practically all of Europe is analyzing this geopolitical movement as a major turning point in the Balkans. Of course, Europe is jealous of any strategic American investment in the region.
In Serbia, the opposition is accusing Vučić of being a traitor because the construction permit for the hotels that the Trump family will build has been approved exactly in the buildings that NATO and American planes bombed during the war in Kosovo.
Where Kushner's American company will build, are the bombed buildings of the Ministry of Defense and Order of Milosevic's Serbia. The diplomatic symbolism of official Belgrade is greater than the economic investment.
Meanwhile, official Tirana is putting an end to the age-old dilemmas of an Albania of the last century between East and West.
Sazani and Vlora eventually become American bases and gateways at the Balkan crossroads.
The diplomatic importance has a centuries-old dimension greater than the touristic importance.
Without a doubt, foreign investments should be the priority of the future of touristic Albania, which in these years has been developed in a primitive way by the Albanian provincial oligarchs who not only have no vision but have become an obstacle for foreign investments.
If there is a historic decision of the Albanian state for tourism, it is the development of Sazan.
Eventually we rescued Sazan from the Albanian thieves.
Sazani was endangered by some comical and typically political "strategic investor".
It is better for the Trump family to invest in Sazan than the sisters-in-law or sons-in-law of Albanian MPs or the nephews and aunts of Rama government ministers.
Albania, with the act of Americanization of Sazan, finally put its border with Moscow, which has conquered the entire Mediterranean with Russian investments, starting from Turkey to Greece, Montenegro, Croatia, etc.
The only island of Albania could not be turned into a Bathore of constructions without a "land and xanun" permit, nor in Himara, where construction permits are approved by Athens.
Sazani should be the American guarantee for the future and peace of the two Albanian states in the Balkans.
Those who are against it have trouble that Rama does not secure support from the future American president Donald Trump.
In fact, the Americanized Sazani will survive after this investment even when Rama or Trump have died in a few years.
