Today, the United States of America has called on the people of Kosovo not to vote for Albin Kurti.
The US call even went further, accusing him of being a fraud and an untrustworthy person for the EU, NATO, and the US.
President Trump's delegate emphasized that: "The EU and NATO. The international community is united against Kurti. Kurti has also been against every US idea offered by Presidents Clinton, Bush, Obama, Biden and Trump. The rhetoric used by Kurti now, claiming that he is close to the US and better than all other governments in Kosovo, is absolutely false. Do not be fooled," emphasizes Richard Grenell.
The US stance comes 5 days before the parliamentary elections in Kosovo.
We recall that the Kurti 1 government was overthrown 5 years ago by Donald Trump in his first term and the US is determined not to cooperate with the most anti-American politician in Albanian territory, as they consider him.
Meanwhile, Vetëvendosje activists justify themselves by saying that Kosovo is sovereign and the US should let the people elect its leaders.
The three questions that arise are:
1- Was Kosovo liberated by itself or by the Americans?
2- Why couldn't Kosovo gain independence on its own after 1,000 years of war, but they did in 100 days when America bombed?
3- If the US did not recognize Kosovo as a state, would its sovereignty exist or not?
Of course, the ungrateful Vetëvendosje are ready to declare war on the West, just for Albin's chair.
