They stole, they got rich, and they gave themselves the right to be “eternal leaders.” Albania today is suffering from the latest Lukashenkos in politics.
On May 11, Albanians in Albania will vote for the last time, to finally remove former communists and those who are holding the country's future hostage from politics. On May 11, the majority of Albanians will vote out those who 34 years ago, introduced by Ramiz Alia and the State Security, entered the Student City, appeared before them and gave speeches drafted in the KQPPSH. On May 11, the Lukashenkos will be thrown out of Albania's politics once and for all. Those who planted the shadow of the dictator in their parties, those who cultivated the cult of the individual in their parties, and behaved like Stalinists with the citizens when they had power.
On May 11, the faces and voices of those who have been terrifying men, women and school children for 34 years with their illegal and anti-Albanian calls and actions will be finally erased from our screens, with the vote of the majority of Albanians. Post-communism in Albania went through situations that were not at all normal, accompanied by absurdities that left their mark on the memory of citizens. Unheard-of crimes were committed against the state, sovereignty, citizens, institutions, and applicable laws, being replaced by provincialism and other banalities, deforming fragile freedom and democracy.
Wearing the skin of "sheep" and hiding under the devil's cloak, very quickly those who took over the "reins" of politics after 1992 turned the country into a mess. They stole, got rich, and gave themselves the right to be "eternal leaders". Albania today is suffering from the last Lukashenkos in politics. They are like "squirrels" and do not care about politics or Albanians. It seems that they do not have the power by law, nor does the new justice system. But thank God, the vote of the majority of Albanians on May 11 will stop them.
They do not love freedom and democracy, and they understand it differently. They do not love the lives of citizens, and they try to stop the operation of the law. They do not want the development of the country, and they do not stop hindering it. They do not want the citizen to smile, to be happy, to rejoice, and they do their best to freeze it on their lips. Wherever they go, they sow fear, terror, insecurity, call for violence, overthrow, arson, and murder in the name of their interests.
On May 11, Albania will vote for the removal of the Lukashenkas who imitate dictatorships in the middle of Europe. Albania cannot take to Brussels, politicians accused, investigated and tried, for crimes and corruption. In the European Union, this country will enter with dignity without the last Lukashenkas, who shame the country in Albanian and foreign languages, becoming allies even with the devil, just to return to power. Edi Rama's project "Albania 2030" remains the most functional and the most voted for by Albanians, from where undoubtedly with the vote on May 11, it will erase from the political scene even the last Lukashenkas of Europe.
