In a way, Sali Berisha is today the biggest anti-oppositionist in Albania, their most hated figure and the biggest bandit against the opposition, who is raping it as if in an incestuous relationship, since he calls it his own creation.
There is an unbearable ease in labeling Sali Berisha as anti-Albanian for what he is doing in Brussels against Albania. The truth is that he has said such grave and terrible things that he has saved us from any real accusation.
He has declared that Albania is home to the largest drug cartels in the world and the most dangerous criminals. He has declared that Albania is the number 1 country in the world in drug production and that Albanian criminals are all friends of the prime minister. He has declared that the opposition is afraid of criminals and under the dictates of their violence... I am not going to go into detail, but such lectures continue for every possible area of Albania's development.
In fact, if a man were to manage to convince the world and Europe of such things, he would deserve the pedestal of anti-Albanian.
But Sali Berisha doesn't deserve it and they're just making fun of him.
To be anti-Albanian of this magnitude, first of all, you must not be stupid.
You have to be a fine, smart person, with extraordinary manipulative skills and make Albania's Western partners believe that this small country, neighboring Europe, is more powerful than Colombia, Mexico or Ecuador in creating cartels and drug trafficking, as well as in using crime in politics. This is not done with statements. Even facts are not enough. It takes a lot of work to convince people who live in Europe and visit Albania, to show them that the country they see is not what it seems, but is a narco-state. When 27 prime ministers descend on Rinas two days before the elections, stay 24 hours in Skanderbeg Square and feel enthusiastic about Albania, a logical problem is created between what you have to convince them of and what they have been convinced of. To accept this language of Berisha, we must admit once and for all that all the prime ministers of Europe are stupid, all the MEPs in the European Parliament are ignorant and shallow or are under the power of the drug cartels that Berisha has discovered in Albania.
The problem is that although Berisha says them with all his heart and with a lot of passion to seem credible as an oppositionist, he simply looks and acts like a cartel boss, with his gang members. Only in drug cartels does it happen that even though everyone knows that the boss is crazy and evil, they remain wise and are even ready to repeat the nonsense he says. In a cartel, no one dares to go against the boss even when he is crazy. The only unifying element in our opposition is that both those who hate him and those who love him, stand in line behind Berisha because they fear him. Thanks to this quality of the cartel, they also commit crazy crimes.
Secondly, to be anti-Albanian on the scale that Berisha claims, simply having an alliance with anti-Albanian countries is not enough. Today, a Russian diplomat repeated Berisha's statement that Albania is a narco-state, but Berisha doesn't care about Russia. Berisha needs the German Chancellor, the Italian Prime Minister, or the French and English Presidents to mention this. When they hear this from Berisha and Russia, they simply side with Albania more. Even if you find a pro-Russian MP in Europe, which in fact has a majority from populist parties, and repeat this, it still doesn't work, because Berisha's objective is to ruin Albania in Europe, not Albania in Russia. Therefore, you don't deserve to call him anti-Albanian, because sometimes he fixes us more with these evils of his than he ruins us.
And finally, for Berisha to be an effective anti-Albanian after all the nonsense he says, he must convince his own people. If there are people in Albania who are clearer about why the DP has lost so badly, it is the Democrats themselves, and even Berisha's own candidates. They are demanding a recount of the stolen votes within the gang and it is all clear that they have lost to Sali Berisha, but they have nothing to do about it. There is no new or old person in the DP, man or woman, Berisha or anti-Beris, which does not mean that Sali Berisha has given us a hard time, but there is nothing we can do about it.
In a way, Sali Berisha is today the biggest anti-oppositionist in Albania, their most hated figure and the biggest bandit against the opposition, who is raping it as if in an incestuous relationship, since he calls it his own creation.
But, excuse me, this is not called anti-Albanian.
An anti-Albanian is someone who disrupts Albania's work. This Albania cannot touch even a hair. This is the biggest anti-oppositionist we have, but it is not our battle with him. It is the opposition's battle.
