We do not want to offend anyone of advanced age regarding the title used in this opinion of mine, since towards that path, some sooner and some later, we will all go with the hope of God. So we will grow old, and let us all grow old to go in order, to eternity! It is a 'station' that we will definitely pass through and we do not have to take it with stress!
While there is an anecdote for everything, and there are several for old age, we are mentioning only one. "Since I passed 70, I have become comfortable. I do not ask about anyone on this earth. But I have a small problem, precisely after this age no one asks about me."
Popular wisdom says this postulate, which has the message within it, that no matter who you have been, there comes a time when you have to say enough, as age has taken its toll. You forget words, confuse dates, years, events, you don't listen well, you don't reason properly through a quick reaction, you are not effective.
And above all, when you reach this age, you give a lot to your tongue, because when no one listens to you, sometimes you get the conviction that they are not able to understand you, and that your voice has completely left you, but also the turbulence of age has appeared, and you can pick 'plums' here and there. Although no one notices, because 'come on, you are an old man'. In a word, the loss of power due to age is inversely proportional to the 'lengthening of the tongue'! And the greatest wish for this age is to end life with wisdom in mind above all, without taking 'the trouble' of yourself, your friends, relatives, tribe and society. And an invaluable contribution in this direction is given by family members, who must know 'when to gather the old man at home, so that he does not become the world's gas". The time for intervention and the ability of descendants to say 'enough' are very important!
The reason to recall and mention these postulates and developments for the life of every person was Sali Berisha's stance towards the loss of the parliamentary elections of May 11 of this year. But also the efforts of the DP leader to blame the devastating loss of the coalition he led on, a manipulation according to him, by the 'drug state of Edi Rama' and above all the millions that Berisha has thrown here and across the ocean to publish even three lines in foreign media to 'blacken' Albania as much as he can, in search of an alibi for the loss of the elections.
To convey his parallel reality in the EU capital Brussels but also in the USA, Berisha himself and his peer, former Albanian ambassador Agim Nesho, have been activated! We say this because a few days ago the American platform Fox News published in the 'Opinion' section an article by former ambassador Agim Nesho, where Albania and Prime Minister Edi Rama are portrayed in an extremely scandalous and negative way. The article was titled “Meet 'Ramaduro,' Europe's progressive, Soros-trained autocrat and enemy of Trumpism”, a very emotionally charged article which, from the title, shows that we are not dealing with a professional analysis, but with a political declamation and a deep malice towards Albania and Albanians.
This is not an editorial article by Fox News, but an opinion piece published in a column where various individuals, often with clear ideological positions or political affiliations, publish personal positions. The 'Opinion' column is not subject to the verification, balancing or fact-checking criteria required of journalistic reporting, and does not in any way represent the official position of Fox News. And in the Albanian written media, such an opinion piece was usually quoted and is quoted at the bottom of the page as having no connection with the newspaper's editorial line, but is the author's personal position. So we don't have to pretend that we are hearing it for the first time!
Moreover, the author of this opinion that is being sold as a Fox News article, Agim Nesho, in addition to being a former ambassador, is currently a political activist publicly engaged in opposition positions in Albania. Until a year ago, he was the vice president of Ilir Meta's Freedom Party. In his numerous media appearances, Nesho has shown a clear ideological and political line, as a voice of the opposition. Even surprising everyone, appearing as a right-winger! In this context, his writing on Fox News is not an independent diplomatic or analytical representation of the Albanian reality, but a continuation of his domestic political engagement that now seeks to find international resonance.
Calling him "Ramaduro", an attempt to compare him to Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, Nesho says that Prime Minister Rama is the last autocrat in Europe, trained by philanthropist Soros and who is against President Trump. Despite the fact that Rama is considered the only political partner with the US and the EU, among political leaders not only Albanians but also in our region!
Nuk dihet sa është paguar për publikimin e këtij artikulli, ose është pjesë e kontratës së lobimit të Partisë Demokratike në SHBA dhe pagesa ka qënë ‘paketë’ në marrëveshjen e nënshkruar me kompaninë amerikane të lobimit por dhe me Chris LaCivita-n, i cili ka lënë ‘gjurmët’ e tij në këtë opinion. Por ajo që me siguri dihet është që Fox News është pjesë e Fox Corporation dhe u krijua në vitin 1996 nga Rupert Murdoch e Roger Ailes. Specifikisht kjo media ofron shpesh artikuj nëpërmjet një marrëveshjeje komerciale, një praktikë që njihet si op-ed i sponsorizuar. Kjo do të thotë se dikush mund të paguajë për hapësirën në Fox News, jo për të informuar, por për të ndërtuar një narrativë të caktuar politike dhe ku përgjegjësinë e shkrimit gjithnjë e e merr drejtëpërdrejt vetë autori.
Ndërkohë debatit i është bashkuar edhe LaCivita, ai që drejtoi fushatën e PD. ai ka shpërndarë artikullin në platformën “X”. Pra është një skemë e mirëorganizuar, teksa në kushtet kur Berishës nuk i është hequr ‘non grata’, nuk po merret askush me të në Uashington qoftë dhe për nxjerrjen e një vize turistike për të kaluar oqeanin, me një fjalë Berishës dhe familjes së tij ia kanë hequr me kohë dhe vakt ‘vizën’ në mënyrë të pakthyeshme në SHBA, ngushëllimi i vetëm me sa duket ka mbetur publikimi i opinioneve me pagesë në mediat amerikane, për të ‘nxirë’ sa më shumë imazhin e Shqipërisë.
Themi se ka vetëm përpjekje për diçka të tillë, pasi deri më tani, nuk është arritur asgjë, përpos kalimit në delir të militantëve të thekur të PD, dhe atyre në media, të cilët madje zemërohen se përse nuk e kanë ribotuar mediat e tjera një karagjozllëk të tillë, të shkruar nga Nesho nën monitorimin ndoshta të Sali Berishës dhe këshilltarëve të tij. Por që përgjegjësinë në fund të herës nuk e mban as Berisha dhe as media që e botoi, por vetë autori Agim Nesho, nëse Rama mendon dhe vendos se mund ta hedhë Gimin në gjyq për shpifje ndaj tij dhe për pasojë nxirje të Shqipërisë ndëkombëtarisht.
Për hir të së vërtetës, janë dy pleq, të cilët e ndjejnë veten të lënë pas dore, të braktisur në fatin e tyre, njëri kryetar i asaj që ka mbetur nga PD, pra Sali Berisha dhe tjetri, ish ambasador dhe ish nënkryetar i PL të Metës, Agim Nesho, të cilët rreken të qëndrojnë në ‘listën’ e interesit publik përmes lajthitjeve të tilla, si ai i botuar në median amerikane. Pa asnjë gram të vërtetë brenda, pasi SHBA e BE nuk bashkëpunojnë me një ‘narkoshtet’, në asnjë rast, siç pretendon ‘pleqëria’ e opozitës, e cila e ka humbur kontaktin me realitetin. Opinioni i botuar akuzon dhe vetë SHBA për bashkëpunim me një qeveri e ‘narkoshtet’ si Shqipëria që ‘sheh’ çifti Berisha-Nesho, pasi dhe pas zgjedhjeve qeveria amerikane përmes ambasadës së saj në Tiranë njohu zgjedhjet e 11 majit dhe deklaroi vendosmërinë për bashkëpunim të frytshëm me qeverinë e dalë nga 11 maji,
Mbi të gjitha me sa duket janë hedhur goxha para për të botuar këto gjëra, megjithëse vijojmë t’i cilësojmë para të shkuara dëm. Por Berishës nuk i kushton asgjë, paratë e shqiptarëve janë në fun të fundit. Se mos janë paratë e rrogës së tij! Ajo nuk i del as për qetësuesit që përdor për të fjetur gjumë dhe as për ‘rikarikuesit’ për të qënë në këto takimet e mesditës në seli kundër zgjedhjeve, apo vizitat jashtë vendit.
Ka gjetur dhe një ‘ortak’ të tij në moshë të thyer, shokë të ngushtë partie të kohës së Enver Hoxhës, Berisha ka qënë sekretar i PPSH në spitale dhe mjek “Blloku” ndërsa Neshoja ka qënë anëtar i KQ të Rinisë së PPSH dhe pjesë e “Bllokut”. Këto dy elementë i lidhin bashkë përpos moshës, e tashmë në pleqëri, kur nuk i pyet askush, rreken të bëjnë ndonjë dëm. Përpiqen themi! Pasi në të njejtën ditë që doli ky opinioni në median amerikane, kanë rrjedhur shumë ngjarje që kanë treguar e po tregojnë se nuk ka pasur asnjë impakt në aleatin tonë përtej oqeanit dhe as në vendet e BE. Të cilët tashmë po kërkojnë anëtarësimin e Shqipërisë në union përpara kohës limit të vënë nga vetë ata, më 2030. Njëherësh po vlerësojnë Shqipërinë si lider rakjonal dhe faktor stabiliteti në Ballkan, në këtë situatë të mbushur me tensione, konflikte, luftë hibride e ndërhyrje ruse e kineze, prej të cilave Shqipëria nuk është prekur!
Dhe qeveria shqiptare, e drejtuar nga kryeministri Rama, pas marrjes së mandatit të katërt qeverisës radhazi me 83 mandate, shihet nga SHBA dhe BE si një partner serioz, që nuk bën ‘lavjerrësin’ politik herë në një krah e herë në një tjetër, nuk cedon në asnjë moment në përzgjedhjen e aleancave por është solide në qëndrimin e saj si aspiratë dhe e shqiptarëve në Aleancën Euroatlantike dhe me Perëndimin, por dhe të aftë për të qënë krah aleatëve natyralë në mënyrë dinjitoze për përballimin e sfidave të forta me të cilat po përballet bota demokratike!
Ndërkohë që Berisha vijon të mbajë me gajret militantët më të thekur, duke akuzuar qeverinë e Ramës se i ka tjetërsuar votën, megjithëse është i bindur edhe vetë se ka marrë maksimumin e maksimumeve më 11 maj, rinumërimi i votave sipas kërkesës së kandidatëve të PD dhe të vetë përfaqësuesve të PD në KAS ka nxjerrë një të vërtetë të dhimbshme: PD ka përfituar si parti më shumë vota se sa meriton, vota që i janë hequr tashmë, ndërkohë që deputet demokratë kanë bërë kërdinë duke vjedhur njëri tjetrin.
