Today, a 42-year-old man was killed for blood feud in Lezha and left 3 children orphans. 3 souls and hearts that have me grew up and lived with eternal sadness that their father was killed for blood. This macabre reality has been going on for decades. Endless hours are spent in the media on all kinds of worthless topics, except for life and its price is not talked about. There is no mention of the lives that are extinguished, nor of the orphans that are added and those that are left behind. It does not say that lives and blood have been replaced by ignorance, superficiality, interest and silicon. This abandonment kills the victims but also the orphans for the second time. Even the reporting of events has turned into a show. But this is not enough when you think that blood feud and revenge are never discussed in the Parliament of Albania, are you saying that it is not among us, but somewhere else.
Thousands of hours of fights and arguments without any blessings, when the Albanians are killing each other among themselves. Thousands of innocent victims who lose their lives suddenly, due to the fault of their ancestors or their relatives.. An incomprehensible custom of taking blood, the same as the thought of blood forgiveness. But why did the man reach here?! Unthinkable for the era we live in and for the civilized world we want to go towards. How is it possible to kill my husband, the tribe, the tribe, the neighbor, the Albanian, the Albanian as if we were at war and not at peace?

For the rest of us who count the lives lost and gone in vain, this has neither meaning nor logic, while for those who live in honor of the lost life it is, for them it definitely is. The orphans who are left without a father, will grow up with the feeling that someone killed their father from the Hasmi tribe and once the father's blood must be taken and the honor put in its place.
And so this story has not stopped because emotion and honor are stronger than logic and character. The evidence of lost lives says it, they even shout it so that the whole of Albania can hear it. Only within the walls of a building, the screams of the bloodthirsty and the screams of mothers who run away from their sons, sisters, brothers and wives, husbands are not heard. This building is the building where laws are made, the building of the Parliament of Albania. There they talk about everything, all kinds of things, except for the interest in life, and lost lives.
None of them talk about the blood that runs in rivers. And they have not stopped as long as the honor is in the trough, until it is replaced by a horse. The new interior minister took office only 3 days ago, he didn't find a single word about the blood feud, this phenomenon that is more than manly is a shame for Albania, a shame that dirties our face. His predecessors did too. No one dealt with this phenomenon, no government, no legislator. So no one in this country listens to the pain of innocent children who no one returns their father because the enemy's rifle is waiting for them somewhere without knowing where.
And if you want to stop this chest butchery, the state must talk to me and act. The state speaks and acts only through the law. The law and only the strong law. Perhaps for so many innocent lives lost due to blood feud, it is worth leaving the Council of Europe where we signed the human rights charter and re-establishing the death penalty, so that the murderous hand of Hasmi can be stopped by the state and slave to slave. Albanian with Albanian should not be killed between Vedi. We are not at war for him after so much blood and wasted lives. More!
