The Electoral Reform deal between Berisha and Rama shows once again the great mockery that this duo has made and continues to make with the democrats and the Albanian citizens.
If Rama is more clear in his intentions, wanting to face an isolated opposition, "non grata" and in personal trouble with justice, Berisha's claims are even less than that: it is enough for him to be known as the leader of the opposition , despite the fact that Rama automatically receives the fourth governing mandate with this agreement.
Not only that, but closing the lists and playing with Edi Rama, highlights the true intention of Berisha, who over the course of three years blew up the entire DP, destroying it fourfold, with the aim of removing Basha as sold to Rama and to restore internal democracy in DP.
Not only has Basha not been a problem for the DP, but it is clearly seen that Berisha has turned into an ordinary merchant, who is ready to give power to the table just so that the lists are not opened and his authority does not get out of hand to determine the next deputies.

In the conditions where the DP and the opposition are today, after the long fratricidal battle, the result that Basha got in 2021 will look spectacular and a great victory compared to what awaits Berisha's DP in next year's elections.
Entering elections with closed lists does not bring anything to DP and Democrats. The aim is to guarantee a small handful of loyalists to keep Berisha's personality cult alive, while the rest continue to push for democracy below the Balkans until the 2029 elections.
