There is something mystical in their joy...
The US decision to suspend the immigration visa procedure for 75 countries, including Albania and Kosovo, based on the costs each community has incurred to the US in terms of social support, has aroused inexplicable happiness among the leadership of Sali Berisha's Democratic Party.
There is something mystical in their joy. Even though they understand that no operation has been undertaken to ban visas for Albanian people in Albania, but rather the immigration procedure in the US, they want to pronounce loudly, but not mournfully, the fact that now the entire Albanian people are "non grata."
Even the people of Kosovo, who are governed by a man with clean hands, a patriot and who does not cooperate with the international mafia like Albin Kurti. So, in a way, we have been declared a "nation non grata" according to them, and we have been left behind by Serbia, which was once bombed by the US and which, according to them, will divide Kosovo with Albania.
The joy is uncontrolled, worse than the words that follow it and the arguments they invent. The US itself has made it clear several times within 24 hours, not to us, but to all 75 countries, that it is undertaking a social operation in the US against the financial burden that maintaining an aid system for immigrants has on the country's budget. As Berisha often says, a new sheriff has come to the US and there are anti-immigrant rules. The Americans voted for this and we cannot stop them from doing whatever they want with their rules.
The joy of our opponents has nothing to do with the reasons that led the US to this decision. Deep down they are happy, or rather they would like that just as their leader has been declared "non grata", all the Albanian people who do not follow him should be declared. It is a revenge that they dream of and this news is only worth it distorted. It is worth it as it is not, to imagine all Albanians at the US embassy counter asking for a visa and being refused, like Sali Berisha and his family. They see this as a curse that comes to the Albanian nation from the suffering of Sali Berisha as "non grata".
Unfortunately for them, that is not the case. Any Albanian who has a visa or wants a visa to the US for tourism, business, work, education or other activities can go to the embassy and get it. What has been suspended is the practice of homogenizing immigrants into American citizens. This is bad news for all those Albanians who want to immigrate to the US, not for those who want to live here. They have the right to be upset, but we cannot help them.
Our opponents are not happy enough with this. They want no more visas to be issued, since Sali Berisha and his family are not being granted visas.
Oh yes. There are also some criteria from now on for those who will apply for visas. Among those criteria is obesity, incurable diseases and mental health.
What is certain is that all these members of the DP leadership who have been talking about the "visa ban" from the US in the last 24 hours, it is certain that they will not pass the visa test. Not because they are "non grata" collaborators, but because of the mental health criterion. It is better for them not to try.
