The DP should not become ridiculous with its delusional and incoherent stances, declaring one day of boycott and one day of participation, because this damages it greatly and turns it into a non-serious political force, "wobbling" like the "tools" of a ram in the month of July when it gets hot.
Territorial reform is in the interest of citizens and the commission must be presented with figures and facts, as for 10 years this reform, which was unilaterally implemented by the Socialist Party in 2015, has completely failed, transforming municipalities into institutions where patronage agents are employed and where citizens have no opportunity to address or solve even a simple vital problem, to repair a roof or a window.
From the 46,000 employees that the entire local government had until 2015, with 340 communes and 60 municipalities, after this "reform" today the number of employees in all municipalities is 100,000 patronage workers, or over twice as many as it was.
Territorial reform must also consider the methods of electing councilors and administrators, so that each administrative unit elects its own administrator, in order to respect the sovereignty of the vote and political pluralism in local government.
