For several days now, the opposition's political environment has been reviving the "sirens" that are buzzing the familiar signal for boycott, clashes, abandonment, or rather non-participation in the November local elections, which the President of the Republic just decreed.
Not only from the authors of this thesis, but simply the way it was brought back, it seems like nothing more than the old soup of civil conflict that was stored in the refrigerator, being brought out again to be reheated.
Anyone who followed this discourse before 2019 remembers that the burning of mandates and the boycott of the local elections of June 30, 2019 was not a bolt from the blue, or an unexpected political act like "I know how to surprise Lul Basha (when he fired the doctor)."

There's only one thing here, because for all that game that the sirens started, the doctor ordered with the president, only two people were blamed: Luli and Monika. But the latter denied it and the blame remained with Luli. Everyone else, from the circuses to the sirens, pretend they don't know anything. Everyone denies it. It's very likely that they will do this even when, after the political gap deepens in an eventual boycott. They say that the next luli is to blame.
Boycott, politically, makes no sense in a system where elections are part of the game and the political system. In every country in the world, a party abandons the race before it foresees manipulation. When it happens, it denounces the act and maintains its political stance. In Venezuela, the opposition has never boycotted the elections, even though its leaders have been imprisoned or exiled. But when it does, it has denounced the Maduro regime.
The opposition in Turkey, even when its leaders are imprisoned, has not boycotted the elections. The only political force that has given up on the elections in 2005 is Hamas. After having clearly defined the political path; by violence! And everyone knows that Hamas is not a force that seeks elections, but the achievement of the objective by all means.
It is very likely that this language will be used in the coming days, as those Hamas supporters who speak on panels and compare it to the KLA are not a coincidence at all. But a political signal that they seek to convey to the public.
