How was SPAK born? SPAK and the so-called new Justice were born as an extraordinary, internal desire of Albanians for Justice. When, this rare seed, preserved between the hearts and chests of our people, always existing but dormant for years and years, exploded irresistibly and with an inexhaustible energy? Here is a quick reflection: After the Dictatorship fell, after we thought that dreams were taking their rightful path beyond the cage imposed by pseudo-communists and pseudo-socialists hidden under the dictatorship of the proletariat and eager for personal privileges that clearly not everyone could have, other deceivers were born. These are the deceivers of democracy. Who, under the guise of "We love Albania like all of Europe", filled Europe with apartments bought by them with the dreams that they robbed from Albanians.
In all shapes and forms. European banks, European plastic surgeons, European boutiques, European luxury hotels, European schools were taken over by our democracy swindlers. And this continues to happen as if we were the richest Arab country with a caste of oil well owners from which wealth flows endlessly.
The desire of Albanians for Justice emerged from everyone's soul gradually. Back when prosecutors and judges paraded around with their gold watches, jewelry and bags with prices several times higher than their annual salaries. Have we forgotten that time? When victims went to the prosecutor's office and the police and it was the same as complaining to their abuser?
But beyond the material, as naturally happens with greed, come disasters that surpass the tolerable vices. After greed, come murders. When the greed of the swindlers of democracy exceeds every imaginable limit and reaches the moon, it returns with tragedy.
These days of commemoration of the state-run Gërdec Massacre, Geraldo Durda, son of Zamira Durda and brother of 7-year-old Edison who was scorched by the flames of the weapons dismantling factory would repeat: "We are being patient, we have faith in Justice, we are showing citizenship". Yes! The Durda family is showing citizenship by waiting for 18 years today for the main accused in that tragedy to quietly make their trips abroad, indefinitely postponing court hearings. And others, hidden among orders, swindlers, benefits, to be privileged by... The Deceivers of Democracy.
