The knife is replacing the pen in schools

Drastic measures must be taken by the Regional Directorates of Education, in cooperation with the State Police, in the direction of increasing security in schools, starting from the daily checks of each student, mainly the problematic ones.

Knife fights in our schools again. This time in Cakran of Fier. In the village and not in the city. It seems that this thing turned into a phenomenon, and requires drastic measures from the government. The State Police must be brought into play. Every minute of delay has life consequences for the students. As it is, the knife is replacing the pen in schools. It is understood not in mass, but the mentality that most students have today is enough. They take money every morning from their parents under the pretext that "I'm going to eat something during the break", and rush out and buy knives.

Terrible. How can this happen? We start with the family. It is precisely the family, which received "powerful punches" today due to the circumstances and conditions of the democratic system, where divorces occur every day, quarrels between cohabitants, husband and wife in the eyes of children, economic conditions, some good and some try to increase them. Society, and especially the family, is experiencing a state of 'shock', and those who suffer are the children, the younger generations. A child is not born a criminal, he becomes one along the way, due to lack of education, schooling, lack of socialization, etc. There are parents today who do not know how to deal with education, or they close the child within the four walls until he comes out of the "egg", and then pours on bad habits. There is a lack of education from the family, which transforms into lack of education in schools, as the whole process becomes difficult.

During the year 2024, there have been many criminal cases in schools. There is almost every year. Principals and teachers, where there are also parents, constantly ask for police presence at the doors of the schools, but so far everything has failed. The government and Prime Minister Rama have the school safety project ready for implementation. That project should not be delayed one more day, as we are seeing the worsening of the criminal situation in the country's schools. Drastic measures must be taken by the Regional Directorates of Education, in cooperation with the State Police, in the direction of increasing security in schools, starting from the daily checks of each student, mainly the problematic ones.

Not only the camera system should be introduced in schools, but also "Breaking the Grade in Behavior", up to exclusion. Disciplinary measures accompanied by legal measures must be implemented without any delay in schools. The government and its structures have all the logistical and legal possibilities to "ZAP" the problematic elements in schools. This is also due to the fact that they must be educated today, because tomorrow they will definitely be the "prey" of criminal groups. The knife in schools should never replace the pen for students. The state structures in the districts should go out on the ground, in markets and neighborhood shops, and penalize those who sell knives and metal gloves. The young generation is in great danger.

Measures from the government must be accompanied by initiatives from the school itself, to put the families of problematic students in front of the responsibilities. Sending them to the Reeducation School (as before) remains the best solution, to put them on the right path. This alarming situation can no longer be tolerated, registering and documenting the perpetrators and victims of crimes in schools.
