The 9 new parties have several advantages that the previous new parties have not had in 35 years!
A friend asked me, what should we do on Sunday?
You have two choices, I said:
- boycott the elections and go to the beach
- stay in Tirana and vote for the new parties
Both are good options because the result on May 11th does not change since all of Albania knows who wins and who loses, but if we want to project political change in 2029, new parties must be voted in.
On May 11, it will not be decided who will govern Albania, but the future of the opposition and the prognosis for the 2029 elections will be determined.
If on May 12th we have only two winners: SP-PD, then Albania is heading towards fatality and Edi Rama will be the person most interested in keeping Berisha as an opposing factor until the next elections.
Albania is experiencing a historic moment and the 9 new parties have several advantages that new parties have not had before in 35 years:
- The 9 new parties have an ally, SPAK, which has destroyed all the criminal structures within the old parties: PS-PD-LSI.
- The 9 new parties have allies in the media and social networks. Never before have new parties had so much media access and network from social networks.
- The 9 new parties today have the diaspora vote, where 250,000 immigrants will vote and have not had the opportunity before.
Voting for Rama or Berisha keeps us where we are or takes us back to the past.
Albania today has new alternatives beyond the list of servile people introduced by Rama and Berisha.
Parliament needs Erald Kapri, Endri Shabani, Adriatik Lapaj, Arlind Qorri, Agron Shehaj, Elena Kocaqi, Kreshnik Osmani, Pano Sako, Ferdinant Dervishi or Dash Shehi.
Sunday is approaching and many of us are suspicious of the new politicians, but they should still be commended for their courage and bravery over the old jackets.
Undoubtedly, the 9 new parties were wrong not to unite, but if you vote for them, they can bring long-overdue change, otherwise, in 4 years we will once again hear Edi Gerneta's violin for the marsh owl.
A vote for Berisha keeps Rama in power after 2029, while a vote for the other 9 alternatives gives us the opportunity to fight together for 4 years for great change and a new Albania.
