A brutal crime has occurred in the city of Volos in Greece, where a man killed his 36-year-old wife and then fled.
Protothema.gr writes that the crime occurred on Konstanta Street, between Gatsou and Gladstonos Streets, where a 40-year-old Albanian citizen allegedly killed his wife inside their home and immediately left the scene.
Police sources said that under circumstances that are still unknown, the 36-year-old woman who died was the mother of his four children.
According to initial information from the newspaper, the perpetrator ran out of the apartment and fled to Gladstone Street, while the Police have launched a search to find and arrest him.

How the incident happened, the investigation leads
The crime took place in the building where the family lives on Konstanta Street. The fight started in their apartment and the couple went down to the entrance of the building where they continued to fight. The man then allegedly killed his wife, also Albanian, with a sharp object and immediately left the scene.
The information is that the crime occurred in front of the eyes of at least one of the family's children, who is even said to have told the police: "I saw dad stabbing mom."
