
A group of policemen from the RENEA forces have arrived in Saranda since Wednesday to look for possible evidence at the site of the explosion near the Port of Saranda that caused the death of 52-year-old businessman Armand Nelaj.
Confidential sources for "ABC News" inform that it is very difficult to find evidence in that part of the Bay of Saranda, because because it is located near the Seaport, the depth is too great to enable the free anchoring of ships.
On the other hand, the police of Saranda have carried out several inspections of the premises to collect evidence related to the serious event, but the sources are reserved about the results.
The investigative group directed by the Prosecutor's Office of Saranda has also seized a large number of security cameras which are being examined, including the cameras of the Port of Saranda, which are of high quality due to the special importance and security of the institution.
One of the tracks that is being intensively investigated is that the explosion is suspected to have occurred from a quantity of explosives, which also caused the death of the 52-year-old businessman, father of two children.
