The Criminal Court of Kosovo has issued a ruling on one of the largest computer fraud cases in the country, where 16 people have been convicted.

The defendants are: Bruno Çobo, Elisa Çaçi (Caci), Gilbert Palushani, Aldo Pasku, Bruno Gjika, Rezarta Ibrahimi (Çaçi), Valbona Abedinaj, Erion Kastrati, Orland Cani, Florjan Bregu, Hamit Dobi, Greta Gjoci (Pepa), Gjin Shelnishta, Antoneta Malo (Pepkolaj), Silvana Veliu and Mojsi Zuna.

According to the official court announcement, the Special Prosecution Office (SPAK) had requested their trial for the criminal offenses of "Computer Fraud" and "Structured Criminal Group".

The trial was conducted in a summary procedure, while the panel of judges Flojera Davidhi, Irena Gjoka and Erjon Bani announced decision no. 66, dated October 27, 2025.

At the end of the trial, the court imposed sentences ranging from 6 years and 8 months to 8 years in prison, as all final sentences were reduced by a third due to the shortened procedure.

The most convicted person is Bruno Çobo, who was found guilty of "Computer Fraud" within a structured criminal group and "Structured Criminal Group", ultimately being sentenced to 8 years in prison.

Elisa Çaçi (Caci) and Gilbert Palushani were each sentenced to 7 years and 4 months in prison, while Aldo Pasku, Bruno Gjika, Rezarta Ibrahimi (Çaçi), Valbona Abedinaj, Erion Kastrati, Orland Cani, Florjan Bregu, Hamit Dobi, Greta Gjoci (Pepa), Gjin Shelnishta, Antoneta Malo (Pepkolaj), Silvana Veliu and Mojsi Zuna received sentences ranging from 6 years and 8 months to 7 years and 4 months in prison, depending on their role and participation in the criminal activity.

According to the decision, all defendants appear to have been part of a widespread fraud scheme through the use of computer tools, harming a significant number of citizens.

The court decided that the sentences should be served in high-security prisons, counting the time served under the security measures of "prison arrest" or "house arrest".
