A fatal accident occurred on the "Lezhë-Milot" axis, where the driver of a motorcycle hit a 75-year-old woman.
The elderly woman was taken to the hospital, but despite medical assistance, she died.
According to the police, the 40-year-old driver of the motorbike, Izedin Llukaçej ♪7, was arrested for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in death.
"This morning, on the "Lezhë-Milot" road axis, citizen I. Ll., 40 years old, resident of Shkodër, driving a motorcycle, hit citizen Gj. Z., 75 years old, resident of Lezhë, pedestrian.
Citizenship Gj. Mr. was transported to the hospital, but despite medical assistance, he died.
At the end of the actions carried out by the investigative group, the driver of the motorcycle, citizen I. Ll., was arrested in the act for the criminal offense "Violation of traffic rules", resulting in death.
The procedural materials will be handed over to the Prosecutor's Office at the Court of First Instance of the General Jurisdiction of Lezhë, for further actions," the police announced.
