A serious accident occurred on the "Korça-Pogradec" road axis last midnight, leaving a pedestrian dead.
According to the police, the vehicle driven by citizen G. Ç., 37 years old, hit the victim, who has not yet been identified, near the village of Symiz in Maliqi.
"On the "Korça-Pogradec" road axis, the vehicle driven by citizen G. Ç., 37 years old, hit a pedestrian, who died as a result.
"The driver of the vehicle, citizen G. Ç., has been escorted to the Police Station for further action," the police announced.
The driver of the vehicle has been escorted by the police, while the investigation team is at the scene to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
