A truck collided with a car at the Kryebushati intersection, killing the driver and injuring three other people.
A serious accident occurred today on the Shkodër-Bushat axis, where one person lost his life.
According to police, a truck collided with a car at the Kryebushati intersection, killing the driver and injuring three other people. The injured are the victim's wife and children.
The victim, identified as Altin Luli, is trapped in one of the crashed vehicles and efforts are underway to remove his body from the car.
The other injured persons identified as: Mateo Luli, Laura Luli and Hilmi Shkrelaj were taken to hospital and are under the care of doctors, out of danger to their lives.
Police forces have also arrived at the scene and have launched investigations into the causes of this road accident.
It appears that the car was completely destroyed as a result of the collision with the truck.
"Around 12:10, on the "Shkodër-Lezhë" road axis, the truck driven by citizen H. Sh. collided with the vehicle driven by citizen AL and then with the vehicle driven by citizen AH.
As a result of the accident, a still unidentified citizen lost his life and 3 citizens were injured, who are under the care of doctors, out of danger to their lives. The investigation team continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the accident," the police announced.
