A Polish citizen has been detained at the Qafë Thana border crossing after being caught with firearms and cold weapons in his car.
The weapon was discovered after border police checks at customs. An axe, 2 knives and 4 handheld radios were also found in the vehicle.
Investigations continue to fully elucidate the case.
" He tried to cross the border with a weapon in his vehicle, the Pole was caught. It is learned that a Polish citizen was detained at customs after border police checks, after firearms and cold weapons were found in his vehicle. The Pole was found with 1 pistol, 1 axe, 2 knives and 4 hand-held radios. The case was transferred to the Pogradec police station for further investigations ," the police announced.
