A fatal accident occurred today on the Bicaj-Kukës axis, where a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle.
As a result of the collision, citizen IH, 64 years old, died at the scene.
"Around 1:30 p.m., on the Bicaj - Kukës road, citizen FB, 56 years old, while driving his vehicle, hit a pedestrian, citizen IH, 64 years old, resident of the village of Bicaj.
As a result, the 64-year-old died at the scene. The driver of the vehicle was taken to the police station for further procedural actions," the announcement states.
The investigation team continues its work to clarify the circumstances of the accident.
