Who is Lulzim Berisha?
Lulzim Berisha is known as the mastermind of the "Durres Gang", a criminal organization responsible for several serious crimes. The gang started operating in Durrës since 1998, when Lulzim Berisha, in collaboration with Plaurent Dervishaj, Adriatik Colin, Klodian Saliu and Ilir Xhunga, shot and killed Dritan Sallak.
The series of murders became even clearer when in the spring of 2006 seven people were arrested, including four accused of being hitmen.
One of them, Adriatik Coli, repented and cooperated with justice after his repatriation from Italy, revealing a good part of the causes and perpetrators of criminal events.

October 17, 1998
The criminal organization led by Lulëzim Berisha and Klodian Saliu is accused of murdering the citizen Dritan Sallaku on October 17, 1998 in the city of Durrës. This is considered the first criminal act of this group.
October 29, 1998

Only 9 months delayed the response of Klodian Saliu's former organization. It is now led by Indrit Dokle and is accused of having committed the murder of Avni Gashi on October 13, 2005 in Tirana. After the murder, Gashi's body was dumped in the village of Romanat in Durrës.
October 30, 2005
