New details have emerged from the investigative file of Elis Rroshkodoli, killed during a gun attack in a bar in Shkodra on August 30, 2024.
The most interesting evidence obtained by the investigative team is that of the last person with whom Elisi had coffee, the same person whose mother says was present with her son when they lost their apartment keys a few days ago, who also turns out to be a childhood friend of Elisi's.
"On the day of the incident, we were at the bar. About 10 minutes after we were seated and standing there, a person about 3-4 meters tall approached us, who was masked with an anti-Covid mask, holding a long gun in his hand.
He approached us without saying a word and started shooting at Elise several times. I got up and wanted to leave, but I tripped and fell. He pointed the gun at me and wanted to shoot me, but I shouted at him, telling him that I had nothing to do with anything.
"At this moment he left the premises of the bar," Indrit Bekteshi said.
During the following testimony, the friend who accompanied Elis in his last moments of life, says that in recent days he used an Audi Q5 vehicle.
A vehicle that he had exchanged for another BMW. And that Elisi was getting ready to leave the country.
Indriti said that Elisi did not express any concern, but he noticed that he was stressed and wanted to leave the country.
"Elisi grew up without his father, as he was killed many years ago, while his brother died in a road accident in Elbasan a few years ago," Indrit Bekteshi is reported to have said in his testimony.
But what seems to connect Dritan Milani to the circumstances of Elis Rroshkodoli's murder is the car used by the perpetrator in the crime.
Which is the same as the one Dritan Milani entered and left Albania with. Where the corresponding ones are the same license plates, which turn out to have been stolen in Montenegro.
From the security camera footage, it was possible to establish that the perpetrator of the incident used a Mercedes Benz vehicle with license plates BR BL 680. This vehicle was stolen in Montenegro on August 5, 2024.
While driving away from the scene, the driver changed the license plate to SOP1095. This license plate was also found to have been stolen in Germany.
From the verification of the TIMS system data it has resulted that Dritan Milani has many entries and exits from the Albanian state border. Entry and exits were made both on foot and with the vehicle with the license plate AB 888 JJ. The license plate BR BL 680 which was reported stolen by the Montenegrin police on August 5, which coincides with the entries and exits of the citizen Dritan Milani.
It was precisely the pursuit of this car that led the investigation team to the garage where it was later hidden. A garage used by the Xhani brothers, now arrested.
An itinerary that brought together the participants in this crime and led to the discovery of their criminal group.
From the camera footage, the perpetrators' vehicle was initially spotted at the pedestrian overpass on the Balldre-Shkodër road. Then, driving in Bërzhitë on the main road of the village, until it entered the 'Prodiagnostic' service.
After following the security cameras, the investigative group arrived at the Prodiagnostic service, where the manager of this service was Xhulio Malo.
Where in this two-story building, the basement floor served for dismantling stolen cars.
The building was rented by brothers Voltan and Gerti Xhani, who paid an annual rent of 12 thousand euros.
During the investigations and evidence obtained, it emerged that the ground floor of this building served as a car service, while the underground floor served as a warehouse or car park.
Which were reserved by the two brothers Voltan and Gerti Gianni. Where the one who would sign the contract with the owners of the facility would be Giulio Malo.
The rent payment, which according to the owners of the building was made for one year, was 12 thousand euros, for just one of the premises.
But the discovery of the vehicle used in the crime would only come thanks to the testimony of the owner of a commercial activity near the area where the Xhani brothers' service station was located.
Who confessed that he had seen a car hood thrown near his activity.
Which he then introduced into the premises of his enterprise.
A few days ago, my employees and I found a gray car hood dumped near my business. The employees didn't see who had thrown it, but they touched it and threw it into their area of activity.
This car hood turned out to belong to the Mercedes Benz used in the murder of Elis Rroshkodoli.
Which also led to the discovery of the connection between the brothers Xhani, Julio Malo and Dritan Milan, Elis Rroshkodoli's rival.
The judicial police, assessing that the premises where the 'Prodiagnostic' service operates may have housed the vehicle used by the perpetrator, Dritan Milani (Vreto), as well as the verifications carried out by the TIMS system, have resulted in the fact that on April 21, 2024, Dritan Milani, Voltan Xhani, Jugert Xhani and Alket Fusha, left the territory of the Republic of Albania together with the vehicle with the license plate AB 158 MU. This proves that these citizens knew each other and collaborated with each other to commit the criminal offense of 'Murder with intent', to the detriment of citizen Elis Kujtim Roshkadoli (Shkoza), where citizens Voltan Xhani and his nephew Xhulio Malo are suspected of having carried out actions to secure the means to commit this murder./ In Shënjestër
