The Tirana court has set the security measure "house arrest" for the 30-year-old woman who abandoned her newborn baby in a palace basement in Yzberisht.
At the request of the defense lawyers, the 30-year-old will undergo a psychological examination.
Meanwhile, the prosecutor's office of Tirana had requested the "prison arrest" measure.
The child was found alive and transported for medical help to the hospital, but unfortunately could not survive despite the efforts of the doctors.
In her testimony, the 30-year-old woman said that she is not married and this child was the first she gave birth to.
She claims that she was forced to hide her pregnancy because of public opinion and her family since she was not married.
