After an up-and-down season in the Russian Premier League, where injuries affected his performance with Rubin Kazan, Mirlind Daku seems to have made a promising start to his preparations for the new season.
The Albanian striker scored in the friendly match against Orenburg, although Rubin Kazan lost 2-1. Daku scored in the 24th minute, finishing with a clever touch that left the opposing goalkeeper unresponsive and sent the ball into the net.
His goal was published by Rubin Kazan on social media, where the club accompanied the video with an appreciative message: " Keep the ball, pass it and move - a masterclass from Mirlind Daku in how to score a goal ."
Daku's achievement comes as a positive signal before the start of the new season, as the Albanian striker aims to leave physical problems behind and return to his best form.
