An attempt with explosives failed yesterday evening in the village of Vrine in Konispol, after the driver of the vehicle discovered the explosives placed under his car.
Mirash Gjikola, 57 years old, notified the Saranda Police Station after, at the Vrinën Turnpike on the Shëndëlli Vrinën axis, he heard an unusual noise while traveling in his vehicle. After stopping, he found a suspected explosive substance in the vehicle.
After the report, numerous police services went to the scene. Later, serious crime specialists from the Vlora Local Police Directorate, as well as the RENEA anti-explosive unit, also arrived.
According to preliminary data, a quantity of explosive material was found in the back seat of the Nissan vehicle, with license plate AA 725 LG.
