Two people have been arrested by the police after they were suspected of preparing and selling ecstasy-type narcotics, which they distributed mainly in nightclubs in Tirana.
According to the investigation, the arrested Elvis Lezo and Bujar Lezo had been involved in the distribution of synthetic drugs for a long time. The narcotics were obtained in Italy and transported to Albania by land. In the neighboring country, they received ecstasy tablets and powder, which they then processed in their apartment in the Ali Demi area.
According to information, it is suspected that Elvis Lezo had connections with another group in Italy and has a previous criminal record.
During the search of the apartment, the Police found an environment adapted for the preparation of ecstasy and seized 2,200 tablets of the suspected narcotic substance MDMA, as well as two mobile phones.
"As a result of investigations conducted for several weeks, using proactive methods, the police operation codenamed "Blue Punisher" is finalized."
They had set up an environment in their apartment for the preparation of ecstasy (MDMA) tablets for the purpose of sale, and 2 citizens (relatives) were arrested.

Specialists of the Narcotics Investigation Sector, as a result of investigations conducted for several weeks, with proactive methods, under the direction of the Prosecutor's Office, within the framework of a criminal proceeding in the field of narcotics, have organized and finalized the police operation codenamed "Blue Punisher".
As a result of this operation, the following citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: EL, 42 years old and BL, 59 years old, residents of Tirana (relatives).
During the operation, the Police services intervened in the apartment of these citizens, on "Ali Demi" street, where they found an environment that they had adapted for the preparation of ecstasy (MDMA) tablets, with the aim of selling them in nightclubs.
During the search in this area, 2,200 tablets of suspected ecstasy (MDMA) and 2 cell phones were found and seized as material evidence.
"The procedural materials were referred to the Prosecutor's Office for further action," the police announced.
