Sources indicate that the four Geis Fejsullai, Klajd Birçe, Aldi Zonja and Artion Çaushllari, were the financiers and the people who organized the entire drug trafficking scheme.
New details have come to light from the SPAK operation where a cocaine processing network was hit, and 10 people were arrested.
Among the ten arrested, four Albanians, residents of Tirana, have been identified as the 'heads' of the cocaine trafficking group from Latin America, which was brought to our country to be processed in a drug laboratory with the aim of selling it on European markets.
Sources indicate that the four Geis Fejsullai, Klajd Birçe, Aldi Zonja and Artion Çaushllari, were the financiers and the people who organized the entire drug trafficking scheme.
Cocaine was processed by foreigners in the laboratory discovered in Qereke in Fushë-Kruja and then distributed to the other two bases of the group, the VIP residence Kodra e Diellit 2, as well as to the base near the Port of Durrës.
It is also learned that the base at the VIP residence was rented by one of the members of the group, but the investigative team is still continuing with investigations in this regard.
Cocaine came to our country hidden in cattle hide, a way used by this group to camouflage it and escape the checks with anti-drug dogs due to the strong smell of cattle hide.
This is one of the few operations led by SPAK, through which all arrest warrants issued by GJKKO were executed, leaving zero room for de-conspiracy. 10 arrest warrants were executed in the October 15 operation, taking 7 Albanians and 3 foreigners, 2 Venezuelans and 1 Colombian into custody.
The arrested are: Geis Fejsullai, 42 years old, resident of Tirana; Klajd Birçe, 40 years old, resident in Tirana; Aldi Woman, 37 years old, resident in Tirana; Artion Çaushllari, 37 years old, resident in Tirana; Endi Sejdini, 25 years old, resident of Kruja; Ismail Abdurrahmani, 51 years old, resident of Shkodër; Baki Huqi, 57 years old, resident of Durrës.
Hiwlen Ledezma Narvaez, 41 years old, a Colombian citizen, have also been taken into custody; Joze Ramon Zacarias Vasquez, 35, Venezuelan citizen and Samuel Alfonso Moreno Serrano, 42, Venezuelan citizen.
Also, 6.1 kg of narcotics suspected to be cocaine, 36,270 euros, 357,046 new leks and 57 million Colombian pesos (approximately 12,200 euros) were seized from this operation; 89.5 kg of solid mixer and 50 kg of liquid solution for the preparation of cocaine. As well as 48 cattle hides, through which raw cocaine was brought from Latin America.
Equipment for setting up laboratories, such as presses, jets, glass test tubes, chemical preparations, microwaves, packaging bags, and heat lamps were also found inside the laboratory; 22 mobile phones, 2 laptops, 7 bank cards and 17 SIM cards; 3 vehicles of different brands and other important documents.
