New details have emerged regarding the murder that occurred in the Gjashtë area of Saranda, where 66-year-old Rexhep Ismaili, owner of a gas station in this area, was killed.
According to preliminary information, the victim was involved in a conflict with several people, which later escalated into a physical altercation. During the conflict, one of the people is suspected of pulling out a gun and shooting at Ismail. The bullet hit the 66-year-old in the head, causing his instant death.
Immediately after the incident, numerous police forces arrived in the area, surrounded the perimeter and began checks to identify and capture the suspected perpetrators.
Meanwhile, the investigation group is continuing procedural actions to fully document the event and clarify its circumstances.
