Elvis Demce's name appears in the investigative acts for the kidnapping with the aim of extortion of Alfredo Le Donne in Rome, in a file that describes strong links between criminal groups involved in drug trafficking in the Italian capital.
According to investigators, the kidnapping was a show of force by a group seeking to recover money lost by the victim's son, around 200 thousand euros in hashish. At the center of the investigation is Manuel Grillà, considered part of a network with a large capacity in the distribution of narcotics.
The Carabinieri of the Investigation Unit say that the evidence supports the testimony of the justice collaborator Fabrizio Capogna, according to whom Grillà and his partner Giuliano Cappoli, known as "Maverick", had operational links with well-known names in the criminal world, among them Leandro Bennato, Giuseppe Molisso and Elvis Demce.
The pressure on Massimiliano Le Donne, a former associate of the group, was exerted through threatening messages and photos of weapons pointed at the victim. The file also mentions previous episodes of violence, including the stabbing of an associate outside Italy, considered disloyal by the group.
Investigators indicate that tensions between criminal factions have increased after the murder of Fabrizio Piscitelli, known as Diabolik, in 2019, an event that shook the balance of the criminal world in Rome.
The investigative acts also mention the availability of weapons and the sale of pistols as part of the group's criminal activities. Prosecutors have also assessed as intimidation the phrases attributed to Grillà towards Alfredo Le Donne.
According to the Antimafia of Rome, even during his stay in Rebibbia prison, Grillà is suspected of continuing to manage contacts and activities through an encrypted phone, which according to investigators indicates a stable structure and coordination of the criminal organization.
